Grasten is the place where the Danish royal family spends their Summer vacation at the castle in town.
The town itself is small and very quiet, not a lot of stores and restaurants, especially not for tourists.
No answer because I couldn't get into the hotel. It was really bad. Other people couldn't get into the hotel either. Lots of emails and pdf files. I have booked hotel rooms in many countries with no issues. Just want to mention a very beautiful country at War in Europe that I have booked hotel rooms in many cities, villages and places, helpful staff all over the country, and 24/7 service. Yes I talking about Ukraine 🇺🇦
Not recommend unless you have time to find out how to enter Gamle Rådhus.
I very much liked the ease of access. Excellent communication beforehand: the entrance and room pin, and even a YouTube link with directions to my room (named after royals) made it all very intriguing and different. Grand ambiance and charm befitting a former town hall converted into a hotel. Patricia in the breakfast hall was warm, friendly and a credit to the hotel. Will definitely stay again when driving through.
We came to Grasten for our wedding. Our dog travelled with us. The lovely house gave us very sweet memory. Oue dog was very happy here during our 2 days stay, she loved the garden very much and wanted to stay most of time in the garden.
Johan is very warm and considerable, gives us tipps and remind.
We love here.❤️
This part of the main Benniksgaard seems to be kind of hostel , so why not providing fridge on each floor and cutlery . Had at least a kettle on the floor.
nice Danish style , had breakfast as a buffet in main building which was good.
Graston is a charming town and allowed us a central location for exploring the area.
the castle grounds were lovely to walk.
The hotel had all that we needed and we enjoyed the spacious rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful
Nice hotel. No reception. You get a door code bij mail. Works perfect but like a peron at the reseption more. very clean and nice but small room. For one night perfect together with the fantastic breakfast.
The location is very peaceful and quiet, next to a churchyard, so quiet neigbours;)
We were received in hospitable fashion and the terrace in the garden where breakfast was served is very nice.
We used the hotel for an overnight stop during a long trip. Selection was based on a criteria like restaurant and parking availability. We had no time to enjoy the golf course and the seaside.
An attractive hotel in a nice setting near the coast and with an attached golf course. The restaurant was good, and the rooms attractive. Good facilities for walking the dog.
