Beautiful park like setting. Hotel in the middle of nowhere, seems to be surprisingly unexpected.

The gym is a nice added feature. You can also have water and some fresh apples right there. The sweets they put at the lobby are also a nice add-on. I did no use the hotel parking as I could park near, outside in the street, out of the controlled "blue zone".

A lovely place especially as it was just before Christmas...
A lovely place especially as it was just before Christmas and the place was lit up. The people were great.Reindeer pulling Santa’s slay was a huge surprise. We didn’t go to the thermal pools, one was being refurbished, one was flooded due to the river being high and the other didn’t appeal.

Very difficult town to navigate as buildings are many stories high so no visual points of reference. Also if driving most streets are one way. It took us ages to find our hotel despite SatNav. We only stopped one night and where happy to move on.

We stopped for one night along a trip from Vigo to Astorga to experience the thermal springs. In the morning we bought towels at the Bazaar down the street, ate breakfast and headed to Outariz parking. A short walk to the pedestrian bridge over the Miño river got us to the free termals. It was very nice. We will be back!

Ourense was okay.
Ourense was okay. You heard a lot of noice in the appartment, the traffic light for pedestrians sounded like an alarm, very annoying. Also the appartment had a very unnice smell. The checking in and out was not easy, we received 4 keys, and the parking of the car was only possible from the moment of the check in.

The best bit about Ourense is the thermal springs.
The best bit about Ourense is the thermal springs. Some are free and some are paid for. We went to the free ones at Chasqueveira. You can walk from town. Just take your costume and a towel and you can leave them on the edge while you have a dip. Go anytime. We have just been on a chilly, cloudy late September weekend and they are fantastic. Well worth going.
The location was Perfect! This family owned hotel was clean and close to the train station. We walked to meet the tourist train to go to the thermal spas and at night we were treated to a lively conversation with suggestions of what to see next by the owner. We were treated like family and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who appreciates a clean and simple room . Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and extremley helpful. Owners were upgrading the hotel so I am sure it will be even better in the future
We asked for a quiet room on a high floor and that is what they gave us. We were allowed an early check in as our room was ready (much appreciated). The shower was outstanding, the bed comfortable and the room spacious and clean. Easy walk both to tourist centre (10-15 minutes) and down to the Ponte do Vao (the anticlockwise circular walking route up and downriver via the thermal baths is recommended: allow 3 hours), The local urban area around the hotel has plenty of bars and restaurants.
The owner is so friendly and so helpful with everything you need. The hotel is newly renovated from the inside and spotless clean.
The beds are twin bed but we could push them together to make a big bed.
The beds are comfy and clean blankets are available.
Incredible view from the window to the mountains.
Breakfast is big, delicious and cheap. The owner prepares it like you want.
Totally recommend it for everyone who is with a car in Orense
Hotel is best for car travelers, it is located at a motorway intersection, but it is also probably the hotel closest to the Ourense thermal baths. Large safe parking.
Friendly and helpful lady receptionist, lift, clean rooms, wi-fi worked well. Clean, good showers, simple but adequate breakfast at good price, overall affordable. Very good value for money, I had low expectations, so I was actually surprised how good everything was.
We we met at the arranged time. They were very helpful and kind to show us the apartment and tell us about the area around the apartment. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. It was the perfect place to explore Ourense, especially the old quarter. We wish we would have had longer to stay. Would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Ourense. The owner even arranged a taxi to the train station for us.
The city hotel not only for pilgrims which want to have some plus comfort. Suprisingly quiet eventhough you hear traffic. The room was big and beds comfortable. We had got shampoo and shower gel too. There was possibility ro have breakfast for extra charge. We liked it. The hotel is near of historic centre.
The room was very spacious. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The shower was fantastic! All in all, the room was excellent. The hotel is in the heart of the city, next to a lovely park, with lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and also next to streets without cars (calles peatonales).
Great location, clean room and facitlies and most of all Sandra is the star of this hotel. She helped us find bikes to rent. Although she couldn't find any, we ended up buying bikes. Sandra took her time to help us with all our needs. She needs to get a raise! We really liked her.
Lovely apartment. Great size. Right in the centre of Ourense. All the facilities and furniture seemed pretty new and in good condition. Not a problem with the apartment per se, but what was going on outside at night was a different matter...
The view from the room balcony. The staff. The breakfast. Also, the localization permitted us to walk freely on the historical part of the city. Sadly, the fake information about the hotel parking prevent me from giving a better evaluation.
Central & modern, lovely little hotel, large room with balcony, great facilities with a shared common area for travelers if required.
The man at reception was super friendly & drew me a map to the local supermarket!
the hotel is located in a beautiful lush green valley and it sits above the junction of two rivers. there is a delightful gushing sound from the waters that lulled us to sleep.
