The room was large and comfortable, with a settee and 2 TVs! Breakfasts were great, with fresh fruit, a variety of cooked choices and plenty of cereals, croissants etc. And a beautiful view over the sea to Arran.

The staff were really amazing in helping me with my queries ! Was a pleasure very nice staff & hotel. Me and my dog were very happy when we got home. 😊🐶
Very expensive, the food and view is outstanding. Most of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Maybe a small fridge in the rooms especially the cabins would help keep cold drinks especially on hot days. All in all if you can afford there prices it will be worth it.

wit is to far you really need to have a car.The worst place to be if you have major walking difficulties like me.It was supposed to be within easy reach of local transport which it clearly was not.

-good value ;comfortable .good choice of reasonably priced evening meals .large and well furnished room.large bathroom with plenty of hot water

Hotel is currently being refurbished and the restaurant was closed. We were not made aware of this prior to arrival. We had to travel to Prestwick for our evening meal .As s result we were upgraded to self contained accommodation. This accommodation in the Byre was top class although it wasn’t completely ready for guests. No cutlery/crockery and TV not tuned in.But hot tub was up and running. Also the beds were very comfortable.Disappointed with having to leave hotel and to go looking for restaurants after travelling from N Ireland
The setting of Enterkine House is magnificent. The hotel itself has changed so much since we last visited. The work to the hotel and grounds are still very much in progress, thus giving it the feel outside the main building, as a bit of a building site. However the interior of the main building and the new pods are lovely. We enjoyed staying in one of the pods. Staff very friendly and approachable. Really nice people.
We arrived to find the maid had missed out getting our room ready for us arriving but the hotel upgraded our room and gave us complimentary drink at the bar while we wait for the problem to be resolved. Would definitely recommend enterkine house to my friends and family.
We travelled by car. The location is in the country but near to Prestwick Airport and the town of Ayr. One would certainly need a car. Hotel reception beautifully set out. Staff helpfully, food excellent, room very comfortable, shower great plenty of hot water.
main hotel looked recently refurbished and in very good condition. staff very attentive and polite. dinner and breakfast of a very high standard. reasonable value for money.
