Such a lovely friendly hotel. The staff were so helpful and warm people. Our dog was treated like royalty. She had sausages and black pudding for breakfast! Our room was a good size. Very clean and comfy bed. The food in the restaurant was very good. I would recommend the delicious pie. So many options for breakfast. Would highly recommend this Hotel.

It was only a one night stay and we were late arriving due to chaos even on Network Rail's standards. Although checking in is advertised as till 10.30 pm they were happy for us to check in later to avoid being late for the event we had travelled for. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast excellent. We would definitely recommend.
