Absolutely wonderful place. The room was large and airy and the bed was large and very comfortable. Plenty of parking and a very quiet and pretty area. The staff were lovely and the food gorgeous. Absolutely cannot fault. We shall be back and have cancelled another hotel booking in favour of staying here again. Thank you!

The hotel was mainly for golf weekends that was fine for us.
The hotel was mainly for golf weekends that was fine for us. The Spa was of a good standard as was the gym (not used). The Golf course and club was of a very good standard- wish i had my clubs:-(.
Food in bar very good. breakfast at weekends better than Monday (due to number of guests staying but service by staff very good.

Wasn't what I was expecting.
Wasn't what I was expecting. We ended up staying at hilton Humberside Airport as we were not happy with the hotel.we chose it as close to wedding venue we were attending. Reviews looked good and everyone mentioned hospitality but no staff on site . No refreshments after 7 hour drive so had to Google nearest place.only one in walking distance was wetherspoon which was chock full due to weather and Friday evening. Food was okay and beer very cheap at £2.10 a pint. Road was very busy and difficult to cross . There are several lovely places locally though .Amersham Gardens and Hall lovely as was Wrawsby

Travelled to meet one of our suppliers with work, went to one bar and a Chinese restaurant that evening. Both were very good, particularly the Chinese though. Food was excellent, and staff were very accomodating

The staff were lovely. Friendly and helpful.
The staff were lovely. Friendly and helpful.
Couldn’t ask for nicer hosts.
The location was also excellent.
Unfortunately, the room was not clean.
I cleaned the sink and toilet before using them. Dried Toothpaste in sink. Sludgy old soap in soap holder and in sink. I used a damp cloth to clean holder and sink.
Toilet seat had stains on which I wiped off with a damp cloth.
Crumbs and empty food wrapper on floor. Crumbs on and in bed.

Brigg is a lovely place to stroll around.
Brigg is a lovely place to stroll around. Plenty of charity shops and small, independent gift shops and boutiques to look at. There are a couple of antique shops, and lots of cafes and pubs.
Lots of characterful buildings, and you can walk along the river.
We ate at The Steel Rooms cafe and gift shop. The vegan cheesecake was surprisingly tasty. There are loads of other cafes, or you can go to Costa.
Brigg Garden Centre (just on the outskirts of Brigg) is jaw-dropping - it's huge!
Brigg is particularly bustling on market days, and can be very quiet at other times.

Brigg is an undiscovered gem.
Brigg is an undiscovered gem. It has so much potential - I don't know why people don't start doing more with it. Lovely surrounding countryside.
There's a lovely river walk. Independent shops and cafes. Antique and charity shops. Historic buildings. A market. Fish and chips. Free two-hour parking.
On weekdays it's very, very quiet - apart from the market days. On market days (Thursday and Saturday) it's more bustling, with people in cafes and sitting out on the street. It would be nice if it was bustling all the time.
You can walk around the entire town easily. Some charity shops are difficult to access with a wheelchair, due to a step, which is a shame.
Myself & my Husband would certainly recommend the Albert House Hotel, Sue & Jeff are very friendly hosts, more like friends, the room we was in was perfect, everything you needed & the bed was very comfortable, the Breakfast was excellent & cooked fresh to perfection at the time you requested, the Hotel itself is based in the centre of Brigg but so quiet, it was ideally suited to us as we were visiting friends who have a restaurant there just 2 minutes walk away, we will certainly be staying there again...in fact October time
The location was ideal for the party we were attending in Brigg.
The breakfast was well cooked and variations on the ingredients (e.g. how eggs cooked) were accepted but I would have preferred greater choice of breakfast. The hotel provides a large or a small English breakfast. A continental alternative would have been welcome.
Location was great as we were visiting family in Brigg. The Sunday roast was very nice and a great price, nice beer garden too.
Room was fine, overlooked the garden so nice and quiet. Shower was very powerful!
Carpark is £3 a day, free at weekends which is a bonus, plenty of space.
The location was ideal for what we needed. The beds were comfy and rooms were kept clean. All the staff were really kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel was also really good value for the 2 nights we stayed.
mine and my boyfriend first spa hotel experience and I can not wait to come back!
•lovely, relaxing spa facilities!
•amazing customer service and staff
•good food and dining environment
•good value for money
It was amazing! Loved it and will stay again. Spa facilities were actually very very good and enjoyed it. Hotel itself was clean and staff extremely helpful! Will be staying again very soon!
Very family-friendly with a small park outside the hotel, colouring pack on welcome and everyone so lovely to the children.
Would definitely stay here again.
