Hotel staff, very pleasant and friendly, I had my Rottweiler Malone with me , everybody loved him, the dog friendly rooms , they have dog bed, toys , water bowls. My van had broken down, and they allowed me to stay in the car park while I waited for recovery. Could not fault the hotel and staff, I would recommend this place.

Wild moorland a short bus trip away. Town full of interesting Victorian architecture. Magnificent mosque just near property. Warm and welcoming parish church. Went to inspiring Mass in 1830's St Patrick's.Canals and waterways at nearby Mirfield.Good base for visiting much of Yorkshire by train. Happy faces - I presume not just because of the fine weather.

Amazing place to stay beautiful location and very clean and immaculate better than a 5* hotel standards were high. Only only flaw and I think this is a problem
With booking.com that they need to be very clear on there page about deposit required by the host once booked otherwise you lose your money . This is in the fine print which like me many people do no read . But the stay was superb and will be booking again .

The house is perfect.
The house is perfect. Be ready for stairs though as it has 3 levels. Had everything you needed (except a potato masher lol). Cleanliness 100%. Parking was plenty adequate. Location is perfect, not too much of a walk to town.
TV in each bedroom is a bonus.
I loved staying there, we were on a trip, we had stay overs in Scotland, London, Liverpool and Huddersfield. Huddersfield was by far the best of the accommodation. I could easily live there.
Would 100% recommend this to other travelers.

The staff at Cedar Court Huddersfield are extremely professional and helpful in all departments.
Good breakfast choice with cooked options if you ask.
Evening food is delicious and nicely presented
Good choice of gluten free options.
Nightmare getting AWAY from a John Smiths Stadium concert!
Gridlocked around the stadium for 2-3 hours.
Many taxi firms refuse to do pick ups at this time.
Seek refuge in The Yorkshire Rose pub next to the Stadium.
Hope Hotel could put on a return transfer somehow!
First concert right next to a hillside covered in trees!
Beautiful Yorkshire countryside with lots to see and do so close by.

It's easy to get around on foot.
It's easy to get around on foot. There are a lot of interesting looking places to eat. The Turkish cafe did a great breakfast platter that was absolutely the highlight of my stay.
A lot of the town feels run down and at night a little unsafe. There are some okay nightlife spots, but on Friday night they were nearly empty, as were most of the eateries I passed.
Nothing
I booked this hotel in September 2021 and 4 days before our trip they emailed to say they were overbooked and were moving us to a hotel on a slip road next to the M62.
We chose this hotel for its proximity to the city Center as we were preforming at a festival. We then ha to book a taxi’s to take us to and from Huddersfield. We had to carry all our gear with us all day as the time and cost of getting up and down to the hotel was prohibitive.
Fantastic convenient location for the University, Town Centre, short walk from train station. I had a studio at the back of the building and there was no noise from either the road or the town, Has everything you need to self-cater. Very good value for money - so not luxury in terms of fixtures and fittings, but very clean, practical. Studio itself was recently decorated and was comfortable for a short break.
Room styled so well, comfortable, cosy. You can tell that there are several well thought out touches and you get a sense of being cared for when you stay here. Breakfast was cooked menu style. Large rooms, everything you want and need and they have not 'cheaped' out on anything such as toiletries and room compliments, was all lovely quality.
We had such a comfortable stay at the Ashfield Hotel. Felt like we were at home. We didn’t want to leave! All the staff are friendly, welcoming and kind. The bed was so comfy and our room provided a good shower pressure. The whole vibe of the hotel was just top tier! We will coming back in the future. Thank you for having us :)

The hotel was in a great location for where I needed to get to. The inside of the hotel was bizarrely dim, light wise, but my room was perfectly lit, clean and very comfortable. The staff seemed nice from the little interaction I had with them. The free Wi-Fi worked well. No complaints really. I’d be happy to stay here again.
This hotel is a lovely little place close to Huddersfield train station. Joan, the house manager, is lovely and made me feel very welcome. Facilities were clean and comfortable and the bed was incredibly nice. Will be stopping here again next time I'm in Huddersfield. Incredibly satisfied.
Great location in the town centre. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, the rooms were large and the ceiling windows were a lovely feature. The shops are on your doorstep which is convenient. The property was convenient for the one night we were in Huddersfield.
City centre location. Close to rail and bus stn. shops, everything. Unusual in having car parking for a central hotel. Room had bath instead of just shower, also fridge and microwave oven. Clean and had comfortable bed. Follow up call to check all was well.
great location, just in front of the University of Huddersfield. has a separate kitchen, the room is very quiet, and cannot hear the noise from other rooms in the same building. got a small radiator and the heating to keep the room warm
The hotel is in a great central location in Huddersfield, just behind the Town Hall. It's conveniently located for the university which I was visiting for an event but is well located for anything else in the centre of Huddersfield.
For the price it was pretty good. Non manned checkout wasn't too bad I was delighted to find my room was ensuite which was unexpected. It was also warm despite freezing outside. Ideal place to stay after a Christmas party.
A can honestly say it’s the best apartment I’ve stayed in
So clean and the Bath is amazing would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay if you are visiting Huddersfield
Stayed here a few times. Rooms are always clean, staff are always helpfully, hotel is quiet. It's within walking distance of Huddersfield town centre, parking on site.
