The peace and quiet afforded me. The 1st floor room was like going back into the 80's/90's. Hairdryer on the wall, furniture that has stood the test of time and a bed that for someone such as myself, found to be more comfortable than any bed I spent in during a few months away in South Yorkshire hotels not so long ago!!!! Pillows perfect and bedding too.

Lovely and peaceful, comfortable bedroom and living room (in cottage suite), excellent breakfast, thoughtful hosts - fridge, microwave, fresh milk, crockery all provided. Plenty of hot water, good shower. No issues with WiFi.
