Prestwick is a beautiful little place.
Prestwick is a beautiful little place. The main street is full of life, lots of nice shops, good choice of eating places, love the vine and the lido also the wee cafe that does senior citizen lunch, all home cooked, delicious served by friendly staff. It's a wonderful place for walking,I love it, the prom and the dunes. Don't change anything about it apart from cleaning the beach.

We just went initially to watch planes at preswick airport.
We just went initially to watch planes at preswick airport. That was amazing seeing military and other aircraft coming in and taking off. But I loved the overall fact that it’s the only place Elvis came to in the UK. and we stayed at the adamton hotel where, Elvis went and made a call to Priscilla, prior to them getting married xx there are a lot of shops. But not a lot of local ones x

Prestwick is a clean town with a very good selection of shops, cafes, pubs, hotel accommodation, holiday flats , churches and the people are very friendly and helpful. It also has a great beach and promenade with good soft clean sand which has two cafes to sit at and have an ice cream etc. There is also a grass area beside the promenade which is great for adults and, children to have a picnic or to sunbathe. Prestwick also has a lovely park and play area for children close to the town centre. It’s also very close to Prestwick Airport for travellers and a few minutes drive to Troon and Ayr.. If you are a golfer Prestwick has great golf courses also. All round it’s a lovely town with all the amenities you need for a great comfortable and enjoyable holiday or place to live.. Excellent!!
Excellent location. Clean, so comfortable. Home from home and everything you could possibly want.. Asked to arrive earlier and it was no problem. Would highly recommend and we are booked to go back in October. Have been several times before and shall continue to do so. Best self catering we have ever stayed in. Close to town centre and Sainsburys and Aldi are just mins walk away. Also beach is only a short distance away. Airport not far away either .Excellent. Please don’t hesitate to book..
The Golf View exceeded my expectations. Neil and Alison couldn't have been better hosts and were extremely friendly! The location of their property is in a great location and close proximity to everything you want and need. I stayed in the triple en-suite overlooking the golf course. The room was spacious and it had the largest beds and bathroom I've ever had in Scotland. Everything about the property was fantastic and I will absolutely be a repeat customer.
Not ridiculously overpriced like the rest of the accommodation in Prestwick. A wonderful welcome from the couple (and their 2 super friendly border terriers). Beautifully presented , comfortable warm room in a quiet location but close to the main area for shops eating ect. Linda went out of her way to book us an early morning taxi to the airport. A brilliant stay.
We chose this property for the location which was just along the road from friends. it suited us very well and we can see why folk use it as an overnight stop when using Prestwick airport. Parking was on the street, the communication with the owners and key collection was very good, and we slept well. We were comfortable there for our three nights.
We spent the night here after arriving to Prestwick from Glasgow. I was playing golf the next day at Prestwick. The location is easy to get out and walk around town. We had a very early evening as we needed rest after the long flight. The hosts were very nice and the Rose Cottage served our purposes perfectly.
The bedroom and bathroom were clean, the beds were comfortable, towels provided and tea making facility. The hotel is set in a quiet beautiful area close to Prestwick Airport and within easy reach of Ayr and other visitor attractions.
this house is in the heart of Prestwick. we walked to the Main Street in 5 minutes!
the location is excellent for traveling all around.
the house is very spacious, beds were comfortable, and it was very clean.
Did not have breakfast as self catered but host did provide tea, coffee, biscuits and milk.
Location was great - very near both the beach and town centre - apartment was well equipped with everything I needed
Thought the location was Prestwick which is how it was advertised but turned out to be just off a main road in Ayr with nowhere really to walk to and certainly not close enough to were we expected to be
The property was very clean and included everything you’d need in order to maintain the cleanliness. The distance from the town centre was amazing just a short walk and you’re right in the mix.
Really top quality house in a great location for staying in Prestwick for the local bars and restaurants. Also an ideal location for many, many excellent golf courses nearby
Very nice house, very well kept and decorated. Easy check in. Would gladly stay there again on a next trip to Ayrshire. Highly recommended for any visitor to the area.
