Fantastic traditional Yorkshire Inn in an idyllic setting next to the River Wharfe.
Great beer, great food (especially the award winning pies made by the lovely Sarah) and a pub atmosphere that you will not find anywhere else, created by the ever-entertaining owner and landlord Ed. We shall be back!!!

There is nothing to dislike about Skipton, it is a pretty market town, lots of boutique type shops, lovely wine bars & coffee shops & welcoming pubs.
Everywhere we went we received a warm & friendly welcome. The places we ate were cosy and good value for money (Woolley Sheep) and romantic and special (Le Bistro)
We originally booked for a 2 night stay but booked a 3rd night as we loved it so much. The rooms were enormous, as was the bed. It was super comfy too. The shower was lovely. Tea and coffee in rooms and just got more from reception when we needed it. Breakfast was outstanding as we're all the staff we interacted with. We used both the pool and gym on 2 occasions. They were both well equipped and clean. Would definately recommend this hotel and will be returning next time we visit Skipton
One of the best small country hotels we have ever stayed in. Good location, on a main road a few miles outside Skipton, with ample parking. Hotel is a pub that has been recently completely renovated, it has a lovely restaurant that also serves breakfasts, food is excellent. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Lovely entrance hall very quirky which we love fresh flowers from the garden very welcoming.
Room was decorated to a high standard
Comfy bed with quality linen.
Hotel next door serving amazing food
Very good location quiet yet short walk to centre of Skipton
The location in central Skipton is great close to the high street. I live in the region and have walked pasted this B and B many times without giving it a thought. I am so glad I spent time there and will definitely will be going back soon.
Although B&B owners did not live on site very private like having an apartment with the luxury of having a lovely breakfast cooked for you. Very quiet and comfortable space next to a really good pub with excellent food.
The house was beautifully decorated. Great location about a 6 minute walk into the centre of Skipton, plenty of off street parking , if no parking spaces left at the hotel.
Great location with amazing views close to Skipton in quiet country area, Breakfast was great staff helpful and overall a great stay, Would recommend location and hotel
Super friendly staff, the room was very clean and spacious a beautiful place to stay. The food was excellent no complaints at all we will definitely return
