Beautiful historic building with lots of character, plenty of space in the junior suite and the lounges and courtyard. Very friendly and welcoming staff and a nice local breakfast with a selection of pastries, bread and spreads and freshly made coffee. And a good location just a few streets back from the main part of the harbour.

The property is so beautiful, inside and out. Location is A+, close enough to easily walk to the main port, but tucked away enough that it feels quiet and peaceful. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. We loved our stay and would stay again.

Rena was a FANTASTIC host! We felt really welcome at her place. In the morning she served us breakfast (all homemade). We stayed only for one night but we would definitely recommend this place even for longer stays. Location was awesome, we did not have a problem to find a place to park a car in the evening hours. We will remember this one for a long time :)

Aegina Town is a vibrant place full of cafes, restaurants, clothing and tourist shops. There are fruit sellers beside the marina selling the most delicious fresh fruit. It’s easy to visit the rest of the island using the local buses which cost only 2 Euros. A day trip to Ag Marina is highly recommended if you like swimming and sunbathing. The last group of beach umbrellas are free to use. You can buy drinks and food from the restaurant behind. They do beach service. Perdika is a nice day trip, especially if you go to Moni Island as well.
The Temple of Aphaia and Palachora are easily accessed by the local bus service. I enjoyed eating at Dromaki, where I had melt in your mouth, slow cooked lamb.

Aegina is a very pretty town with ferries coming and going all day, every day. Its only 40 mins from Piraeus, but a world away from the city. I visited in off season - November - but the weather was lovely at 23*C. There are plenty of places to eat along the waterfront, and it is an easy place to explore by walking, bus or taxi. You can hire bikes too just opposite the port. I visited the ruins & museum at the end of town; and travelled to other places on the island including the Temple of Aphaia, Agin Marina, and Paliachora. The people are very friendly. I could have easily stayed longer!

I Have grown up in Aegina seen it change and expand but it still keep a charm about it ,where there used to be little cafes bakeries and all sundries are now well expanded bars. The back street now have a myriad of shops and all you need provision wise, the old fish market survives and is renowned for its fresh fish and restaurants serving the same all the way back to Athens .
It gets now very busy at the weekend as the Atheans flood back from the city .the town prides itself on its impressive ancient history and modern cultural endeavours galleries and festivals . There are not the boys on tour nonsense beer bellies rowdy 'go on down it Dave' ! of other big islands which i have also lived on in Greece. the larger groups are made of the sailing fraternity so you may get a group of 10 Dutch, German or English but they have a different and more respectful etiquette, the bars are very much for Greeks of all ages with the tourist filling the other seats in harmony . it can be noisy as the ferries bring in and take out persons and trade all day ,but it settles again as the ships leave .

A higgledy piggledy jumble of small streets with both traditional and modern shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Plenty of scope to wander, too small to get lost in. Pistachios for sale everywhere: ultimately I chose to get mine from Mourtzis at P. Irioti 57, and am very happy I did. Eating: for simple, reasonably priced, fresh and delicious Greek food, and excellent, friendly service I would recommend O ΤΣΙΑΣ (Tsias) along the waterfront. Don't miss the Archeological Museum - it's absolutely fascinating.
Great localisation - perfect to reach beach, port, town, taverns with just a few minutes walk while ensuring silence and Greek “dolce vita” summer experience. interiors are minimalistic, designed in while with blue elements, clean and cosy, still with everything you need including balcony full of flovers to enjoy long breakfast. The owner is a lovely guy who welcomes you as a friend, helpful and flexible, ensures you have everything you need and becomes indeed your friend on the island. For sure will come back
The location is lovely, a few hundred metres from the port town of Aegina, 5 minutes from a beach. The hotel is set in lbeautiful gardens which we made good use of. Breakfast was lovely and it was good to eat outside in the gardens. The staff were exceptional, eager to help and organise things to help with the stay. We had to wait around after check out time and they were exceptionally accommodating, storing luggage, offering towels and showering facilities so we could have a swim.
The location of the hotel is excellent - right at the end of the port area. It is close to all amenities of the Aegina town.
The downside to this is the constant noise, but this is a given and it is nothing that the hotel can do about it.
We had clean sheets and towels that were changed after 3 days and the cleaning lady came daily to take our trash.
The balcony gave us a view of a very large area of the port, main street and all the people that came and left the island.
The flat is beautiful!!! Very nicely decorated to make you feel relaxed and comfortable, with an excellent location near the city center, walking distance, and away from a busy road. It has all the amenities and equipment you need for traveling, and it feels home away from home!!!
The owner is very nice & hospitable, sending all the information you need prior to arrival, plus a follow-up for your stay. Overall, it was a great choice for staying on the island!
Wonderful staffs in a very nice and cute hotel. I love it's old style and how it's just a walking distance from the port, to the bus stop, restaurants, etc. The rooms are very clean, with everything you need, and even little things for coffee and tea are provided, with bottle of water everyday. Thank you for making our last day of vacation in Greece a completely memorable one.
Perfect location for easy access to Aegina Town Harbour, local tavernas, shops and archaeological sites, handy for nearby beaches. Christina and George make it their business to help you enjoy your stay. The beds were among the most comfortable of any accommodation we've stayed in. The Fistiki Festival celebrating the pistachio harvest during our stay was an unexpected bonus.
We left Athens to explore Agenia and managed to book this hotel the night before. I asked if by chance there was any spare rooms with a sea view and when we arrived, we were upgraded to a sea view with a balcony. Exceptional. Great location, so close to the port and beach, also the town. Staff were lovely and very accommodating, always close by to speak to.
The staff at Danae Hotel were extremely friendly and welcoming. We had a balcony with a sea view, which was great waking up to in the morning. The hotel is also around a 10-15 minute walk down hill into town. Swimming pool was fine and you are able to order food/drinks from the poolside bar.
A small family run hotel, amazing staff always happy to help, felt like family. Excellent location within walking distance to all Aegina city attractions, ferry port and restaurants. Had a nice room with very comfortable bed, refrigerator and a balcony facing the beach.
The studio was adorable, had everything we needed and was only a very short walk into the town, port, and the temple of Apollo. The owner was so friendly and helpful and gave us all kinds of information and even the bus schedules to local sites.
We enjoyed the friendly staff and the pool which was just great. There is also a really nice rocky beach just under the hotel from which there's a view of the remains of an ancient temple! Everything else on the island is pretty close too.
The rooms and Hotel are beautiful, very well maintained and decorated. The Room was spacious and very comfortable. The hostess is lovely, makes you feel welcomed and offers a fantastic breakfast. If you have a chance to stay here, do so.
Host and staff were very welcoming and helpful regarding information about where everything was located in town inc restaurants, beaches and buses to enable us to fully explore the island.
Cleanliness was always of a high standard
A wonderful host, very friendly! He also owns a restaurant that was wonderful too, we ate there almost every meal, lol. The room is in a good location, close walk to town, close walk from ferry. Need a gps to find it though, lol.
owners were extremely polite and helpful, even before our stay there. the premise is excellent, with all facilities needed..is located in the best part of the island
everything was great, great host, perfectly speaking English, polite, and gave us many suggestions on the island. The house is fully furnished, nothing to say.
