The property is perfectly located on the beach and close to lots of restaurants and bars and shops. The hotel is run by a husband and wife. Teo the husband went above and beyond to make our first experience in Greece wonderful. He was the kindest, loveliest, perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble. He took me to a medical centre when I was unwell and waited for me and brought me back to the hotel. He took us out when we were unable to get taxis. He took us on a tour of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia on the way to the airport when we were leaving. He was so kind to us all.
Featuring a bar-restaurant with views over the Ionian Sea, Pantelis is only 50 metres from the pebbled beach of Poros in Kefalonia and within a short walk from taverns and bars.

The hosts Mike & Regina were superb. personally collecting us from the airport and giving us a comprehensive tour of Poros the surrounding area and all it has to offer. The apartment is conveniently located within walking distance to the beautiful beach, swimming pool, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, bakery and Poros port, from which one can explore other islands on organised boat trips. The apartment is clean and well equipped and the beds were extremely comfortable a novelty in Greece.

Poros is a small but friendly village.
Poros is a small but friendly village. Plenty of choice for places to eat including gluten free options. Long pebble beach with beautifully clear water for snorkelling. Regular car and passenger ferries and options for trips to Ithaca and Zante from the small port area. Generally public transport (bus) is poor but car, motorbike, quad bike and bicycle hire is available. Lots of ATMs but no bank.

Poros beach is a pebble beach.
Poros beach is a pebble beach. Most sandy beaches can be found in the southern part of the island. But Poros was good for snorkeling. Close to restaurants and shopping. Conveniently a port for the ferry to the mainland can be found in this town.

I travelled late in the season (late September) so it was quiet but with most restaurants and cafes open. Hard to say how busy it would be in peak season as many apartments and some shops were closed up.
Some lovely restaurants on the beach and a few tourist shops plus good supermarket, fruit and fish shops. Interesting to watch the boats coming in/out if the harbour and if you're lucky you get to see dolphins!!

We liked the sea across the road and a short walk to eat out.
We didn't like that we were not given what we booked for the first five nights of our stay, the smallest apartment with one double bed. I had booked and paid for a large apartment with one double and one single bed. The property manager was rude, shouted at me and refused to refund the money.
The cleaners and maintenance staff are left to sort out problems. They were doing their best but it was hard to take as a single parent, I had worked hard to prepare for a holiday and it was met with these kinds of attitudes and treatment by the booking agency who can only refund 15%.
A holiday I booked 5 months before should have been free of this type of stress.
We didn't like being at the mercy of property managers or taxi drivers charging too much money.
Not enough fresh fruit and veg.
Chilling at Caminia beach, and a boat trip to Ithaca with Hermes boats to Ithaca were great. Thankfully I shielded my daughter from all of it.

A small, quiet town but perfect for someone wanting to leave the big town noise behind like I wanted. It is good to have a car so that one can make excursions to other parts of the island. Poros is well connected to other areas. There are numerous restaurants in Poros so one can decide to have self-catering or go out eating.

Very comfortable modern house. Had all the facilities needed to enjoy our stay. Rooms were a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Location was great for us as we were touring the south of the island. Poros with it's bars and restaurants was only a couple of minutes away by car or 20 mins walking. The host Alexis was very helpful and explained all the facilities to us. He is also very knowledgeable about Greek history and mythology .Enjoyed having lunch in the patio/sun lounge area. Would definitely use again.
The space in the apartment is well utilized. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals during a longer stay. There are outlets near the bed. The sea views are excellent! The room was clean, there’s abundant parking right outside, the swimming in front is idyllic. I’ve visited Greece many times for many months. This visit it seems that barking dogs can be an issue. There was No dog problem here. We were able to sleep with our windows open, listening to the sound of the waves.
A very beautiful and clean apartment! It has everything you need.
You can find the beach, restaurants and supermarkets just down the road (less then 5 minutes to walk), but it is still very quiet at night.
The owner was very accommodating and helpful. She answered very quickly to my questions. I also got a bottle of local wine as a welcome present.
Kefalonia is a very beautiful island and if you want to stay in Poros, i can only recommend to stay here.
Having travelled to many countries and stayed in all accommodation, I’ll put my hand on my heart and state that Anemos on the beautiful island of Kefalonia was the BEST. The kindness and friendliness of the owners made our holiday special, the spectacular cleanliness of our apartment was maintained for our entire 9 day stay and everything we needed in the way of facilities was a few steps away in the lovely village of Poros.
Anastasia and Andreas are such a wonderful couple. They are very proud of their hotel and rightly so. As everyone has said how clean it is, it is. Pool was lovely and quiet. Plenty to eat at breakfast. Taverna on the doorstep. Short walk to more, and longer walk to centre. We had a car and would recommend but it's not essential. Poros is lovely and would definitely go back and see our friends A & A
Huge apartment that was close to everything. Two big balconies, two bathrooms and three bedrooms. Opposite a crystal clear (pebble) beach and a short stroll to shops and the centre of Poros. The decor is a little dated but very comfortable. The kitchen has ample amenities for self-catering, and it's great family accommodation.
The location is fantastic! It’s right round the corner from the bakery and fresh fruit shop. Two minutes from the beach!
The owner was fantastic and met us late after our flight was delayed for hours. The room was absolutely spotless and the hospitality was great.
We will definitely be back, this was our second time in Poros
Great location just near poros port, very beautiful view on the sea and port with shades of blue.
Hosts were very kind and provided us with advices and assistance during all stay which was quite helpful
Rooms are cosy and nice, Cleaning was done every day properly so everything we expected was done and we enjoyed our stay
Loved the staff. The owner is very friendly and enjoys conversations and sharing stories. He upgraded our room and helped prepare our breakfast. The rooms were gigantic and it was more than we expected. This hotel is amazing and a must visit if you're nearby or hopping on/off the ferry. My highest recommendation.
Comfortable room with balcony giving lovely view over harbour. Excellent breakfast with a lot of Greek specialities.
Hotel is in several different buildings and is a bit of a warren. Pool is fine.
(NB. Hotel is up on hillside so be aware that it’s a steep walk back from the village.)
the apartment is next to the central street of Poros, great location to go by foot everywhere.
We appreciated a lot the fact tha Georgio was always available and asking if everything was fine. The apartment was also cleaned up everyday and sheets &towels changed during the stay.
The place is inspiringly clean.
The view is amazing and the size of the room is pampering.
The place is above the marina on a hill worthwhile and it is recommended to rent a car.
The host - Antonius. Simply a charming and welcoming guy. New Greece at its best !!!
Amazing location. Super friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Beautiful views of the ocean and well situated in Poros. This is definitely the best hotel in Poros. The room had AC and a spacious balcony which made for a comfortable stay.
The owner Mr Politis was very helpful and kind. The room had the basic amenities and a nice little balcony looking out to the sea. The location was great, only a few steps from the sea and Poros center and 20 min walk from the port.
Lovely location across the riad from pebble beach and at the quiet end of the tourist strip in Poros. The family running the accom were very kind and helpful. Nice, quiet, relaxed place for a family beach holiday.
Great hotel, incredible view, transfer back and forth was unexpected and so pleasant bonus. The water was amazing and lack of crowds on the beaches was also super plus. Highly recommended!
phenomenal hotel! only wish they had an elevator for our suitcase but the amazing staff offered to help us carry them before we even asked them. I can’t thank them enough!
