We stayed in a nice twin room with beautiful view out onto the sea. Balcony and pool were lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very cute cats about too!
Urlika Hotel is just 50 metres from the beach, close to the port and the centre of Aegina. It offers spacious rooms with king size beds and private balconies, many with sea views.

The host was very pleasant and kind! I got > 100 insect bites in the room, during the stay! Next day i had to visit the acute department of the hospital in order to get treatment!

The view and sea wave sounds from balcony does worth all. This is making this place unforgettable. The host is nice and she is giving a pure happiness vibe at all times.

Very beautiful around the property, and views were great from our apartment (we could see the ocean and shops and beach). I liked the balcony and the bed was comfy, property is located in the middle of Agia Marina right next to the supermarket and food places. Staff were friendly and price was reasonable (cheapest I could find on the island).

Souvala is a quiet and small village with a little sandy beach to swim. There are some supermarkets and a lot of cafes and restaurants. Aegina town is approx. 20 min away by the bus (it costs 1.60 EUR) and only 2 times a day. Bus timetable is available in https://www.aeginaportal.gr/ktel.html

Small and quaint with small selection restaurants, hotels and a bakery. 2 beaches 1 with sand and beach bar, the other is where ferry ports and is small but with plenty of shade. You need a car to explore the island as souvala is very small

Souvala is a quiet little village and harbour but very pleasant for a short trip. We stayed just one night as a break from Athens and the ferry to Aegina Town was a relaxing way to arrive.
Aegina Town is more sophisticated, but Souvala had a number of restaurants that looked good.
The little beach was mainly used by local families and retired people so it was pretty quiet and had charm. We had a great brunch at the Azure Beach bar and would recommend Saronikos Restaurant for dinner - lovely food (try the local pistachio pesto) and wine - reasonable prices - and right next to the sea with a fantastic view.

We have travelled a lot and this is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed. We were treated like royalty by all. WE were right at the end of the season but there were still several restaurants operating with great dining alternatives.

Souvala is the second big port of Aigina island.
Souvala is the second big port of Aigina island. It can be easily accessed by ship from Piraeus and it is located only 7-10 kilometres away from the city of Aigina. Although it is a small region of Aigina, it remains a very lively place. Especially at night, you can see the local restaurants and coffee shops full of people.
The public transport, though, available is not always so punctual and the taxis are not so easy to contact either.

If you arrive at Soulava Port, there are no taxi's readily available, especially if you need one to get to your destination.
There is a bakers, supermarket, cafe and approx 8 restaurants by the Harbour.
Also the Hotel Ixahippia has a restaurant on site for evening meals
We liked everything about this property right from the moment we arrived, in fact it just kept giving more and more. Greeted by Spyros and his family warmly, clean, fresh and beautiful location and views.
Not to busy and so felt personal to us.
Excellent breakfast, bar and when needed evening meal cooked by the family owners, home made cooking.
Room spacious and clean. Wonderful views of the grounds, hotel and sea.
For sure we will return for the Greek hospitality, a rest around the pool and tranquility.
H&L.
the hotel is comfortable, with al that you need: air conditioning, phon, kitchen, frigdaire and balcony. The position is perfect: 50 meters from port and downtown and 150 meters from the beach. Nikos and his mother are lovely and completly available: they help us more that one time for small problems. if we want to write something negative: the bathroom is a little bit small but if you consider quality-price this accommodation is top ( and i would like thanks them for aegina's pistachios...)
Everything was great! beautiful people beautiful location! The pictures don't do it justice. If you like small relaxing atmosphere this is it. Only 20 minutes to Aegina port and 5 minute walk to market. Food was authentic and great service. Spyros was very helpful to book our taxi's and anniversary dinner was the best! Would definitely recommend to stay here the ocean is so blue and private beach is steps away! Family run resort and they all take good care of you!
The views!!!!!!
The main pool was lovely, plenty of comfortable sun loungers to go around.
We were room only, so didn’t have breakfast however we ate at the hotel one evening and the food was delicious.
Room was large and we had a kitchenette in ours, the fridge was handy , and the added toastie machine made making lunches easy.
Very short walk to the beach however a little incline on the way back, so may prove difficult if you have walking difficulties.
This is a great place to stay when you want to relax. The owner and family were brilliant. The food was lovely. I didn't need to walk to town for dinner as Nicos made excellent food. His Wife and Son are lovely people and couldn't do enough for you.
It's situated a 10 minute walk from Souvala, which is cute. Plenty of places to swim.
one of best holidays I had. not only property is on a stunning spot on beautiful Aegina, but it was also build in a way to make you feel relaxed and enjoy all views.
all staff is gentle, helpful and friendly. accommodations are comfortable and cozy, very well decorated. this place is really something special. thanks for all
The home was very nice and cosy and had great views of the ocean. We ate at the local cafe’s. We were able to get quick and affordable taxi service to the Aegina Port to shop and eat. There is numerous restaurants in the Port area. It was too windy to swim at the beach in Souvala, but we did swim at the the port.
View from hotel is top notch. Small coastal village with restaurants within walking distance. Hotel owner is very accommodating and easy to work with- helped arrange rental car and provided extended pool time upon request. Pool was nice. Great value.
Lovely stay, amazing view, the pool is great! Breakfast is nice. Overall good experience and would recommend.
Hotel staff are super friendly and accommodating, we were able to check in early and go straight to our room. Worth a visit for sure
Incredible location near the Souvala ferry port. The hotel is built on the hill and there are many places to rest and relax as you walk down the hill to what is essentially a small, private beach
Impressive hotel, small but with all you need and amazing staff. The boss could appear grumpy but this is about his style, in fact he has a great heart ;)... the overall silence is stunning.
Super Nice! The hostess is a very sweet and helpful person.
The room is super quiet and clean and it is near the port of souvala, where someone can find restaurants, markets and bars.
It is a 2 stars hotel, but with 3 stars services. Big room with a view over the sea. A lot of taverns and the beach next to the hotel. Everything was perfect!
