The location was fantastic, providing good hiking. Our hosts were delightful and provided us with information to help us get the most out of our stay. They made special provision for us with gluten-free food, including a special home-made chocolate cake. Both of our hosts spoke English well and their enthusiasm for all aspects of pur stay was a delight.

Where do I begin? I told Michele (Staff) it was one of the best weekends of my life because honestly La Pietra was a dream! The views are unparalleled (we visited other places and also dined in other relais, and maintain that La Pietra’s views were superior). On arrival we got an upgrade and a bottle of their wine waiting for us, we were also given an extra treat as we were celebrating my partner’s birthday. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and our dinner at the restaurant was Michelin standard - fresh ingredients, and the perfect balance of experimentation and simplicity. The pool is a must - with the heating adjusted to ambient temp it was a true luxury. I could go on but I will end with a note on their wine - try as many as you can! Grazie Mille Michele for your fantastic hospitality and Matteo for all your help with us making the most of our stay. We will be back 😊

Loved everything. The hosts went beyond expectations in making us welcome and looking after us. Peaceful, relaxing environment. Home away from home. We didn't have a car, but this suited us as we were there to relax and absorb beautiful Tuscany.

The best views of Greve in Chianti, pool area is perfect with plenty of sun beds. The apartment was very spacious and had all facilities at our disposal. The hosts were very friendly and it is 100% worth doing the wine tour.

Wonderful property, wonderful people and accommodations.
Wonderful property, wonderful people and accommodations. The only criticism I have is if you plan on having dinner at the hotel inquire about the price as we were quite surprised by what was charged for dinner, a very, very pricey.

Beautiful countryside, easy to get around.
Beautiful countryside, easy to get around. Lots of little places to discover in the area and beautiful buildings, wineries, restaurants etc. All excellent quality and not outrageously priced. Perfect place to stop between Florence and Rome.

This is a small yet charming Tuscan town.
This is a small yet charming Tuscan town. The surrounding countryside is simply stunning. We enjoyed using Greve as our homebase for a few days as we explored this area of Tuscany. It is well situated to visit Siena and San Gimignano for a day trip. There are several lovely All-Trails hikes in the area as well as local wineries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Restaurants were all good, and wine delicious and inexpensive. You definitely need a car; there are free parking spots as well as paid (6 Euro/24 hrs).

The biggest town in the area with restaurants, a supermarket, local shops and weekly market. The tourist office were very helpful. lots of wineries to visit locally and, of course, the beautiful countryside. We, also, went into Florence and Pisa on day trips.

Greve is a great small town and the people are fantastic!!
Greve is a great small town and the people are fantastic!! so many fabulous restaurants to eat at and shop and the perfect location to visit a thousand wineries!! the landscape is gorgeous and it is so easy to get around, you definitely need a car but everything is so close to get to and you can still do great day trips to farther towns! We have been visiting Greve for over 15 years and it is always our home base for our first week in Italy every year!!

The photos didn't do this place justice, the grounds were absolutely beautiful and the view was breathtaking. We had a wonderful and comfortable split level apartment, and it was great to have a full kitchen to cook our own meals.
The pool was so relaxing, and it was a great location to explore Greve and Tuscany. We also booked in for the wine tour and tasting, a great experience and so interesting to hear how the winery operates.
Perfect location very close to Greve In Chianti. Countryside calm atmosphere - the hotel is part of a farm with olive trees vinyards and farm animals. Very, very clean.
The staff is very kind and helpful, always offering help and suggestions.
Good breakfast. Nice pool - quiet, well maintained, with great view.
Available laundry facility was great to have and easy to use.
It was nice to have a kitchen in our apartment.
Fantastic support, communication by Cristina who met us on the first night and gave our keys despite it being quite late. Cristina also helped to collect a key for our friends from another hotel down the road as they were late at a wedding dinner. She was very, very helpful throughout our stay! Alessandro, was also very friendly and he ran the Cantina down the road which was the best food in town!
Great property in a good location, only 5-10 mins walk to the main square. Excellent facilities and spotlessly clean. Good selection for breakfast which was replaced every day.
Friendly hosts who live on site and available when needed. Greve is a lovely town with plenty of good restaurants. An ideal base to visit beautiful Tuscany.
Would definitely recommend this accommodation.
The staff is lovely! They assisted with dinner and lunch reservations prior to arrival, which was fabulous given the limited number of tables at the area’s best restaurants. And, they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. The rooms are large, beautifully decorated, with super comfortable beds. And, of course, the setting is glorious!
Pierre and Walid are exceptional hosts. The accomodation is outstanding, warm, spacious and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect for day trips to all of the amazing villages in the Chianti region. The breakfast was plentiful and dinner at the restaurant included delicious local fare. Our best stay in Italy by far!
Everything was nice but the best part was that we had free parking to leave the car and that the hotel was very close to the center and it's located in a very nice place. We were able to use all the "public spaces" of the hotel and it's a good place if you want to visit the rest of the tuscany from there.
Beautiful backyard with a view of the surrounding nature of Tuscany. Have homemade breakfast while hearing the birds with a super friendly couple. Ask about restaurant recommendations and you will get the best out of your trip, with actual traditional cuisine and at reasonable prices.
We were looking for a quiet, little spot to have as a base while we explored Tuscany... this was it! Such a cute little spot and the hosts were so lovely. Such amazing value. Lovely little terazza which we made use of one of the evenings and watched the sunset.
The best hotel with beautiful views. The best hosts, full of kindness and joy. I recommend ordering a delicious dinner and wine. As a bonus, you will hear a lot of interesting stories about Tuscany. If you want to feel like a local, you must visit this place.
The property was absolutely gorgeous. i highly recommend to stay here — the accommodations are wonderful and, of course, the wine is excellent. The tasting and lunch was perfection. The owners are also the best people. i would 100% return.
Anna was the loveliest host. The breakfast she prepared was sublime - we really like it. Our room (and the whole property) was very clean. There is a spacious parking space in their garden. The best stay we had in Italy thus far.
Viticcio is incredibly close to Greve in Chianti. Just a short drive away. We fell in love with this location, the birds singing in the morning, the beautiful vineyards, and the pool was amazing. We highly recommend!
the breakfast was very generous and had many varities in comparison to other hotels in Italy. had a nice wine tasting and even bought a bottle of wine. great view at the back side of the hotel
We have stayed repeatedly at this property for the Greve Wine Festival. It achieves all the quality needs that one requires when staying in Tuscany.
The farm road is a challenge.
