Noto is simply beautiful.
Noto is simply beautiful. If you like history, old churches, palazzos and piazzas, don't miss this gem. It is surrounded by rolling hills and there are plenty of appetising food and drink options.
It is small enough to do in a day, but I would have preferred a couple more days to really linger around and enjoy all the tiny cobblestone laneways and explore a little more.

This is my new favorite place in Sicily.
This is my new favorite place in Sicily. Noto is the perfect ballance of amazing architecture, classy restaurants with outstanding reasonably priced food, great independent boutiques.....all without the insane crowds of so many other places. Perhaps I shouldn't write this. I should tell everyone to go somewhere else. Yes, everyone should just stay in Taormina and leave these pure, clean natural beaches near Noto just the peaceful and quiet and clean way they are now...and forever. Such a great base to explore other towns of Ragusa, Modica and Scicli, but you will LOVE coming back to an amazing meal, gelato and music in Noto.

If you are visiting the East coast of Sicily, Noto is a logical stop to view a Baroque city. Easily walkable, friendly folks, enough of interest for a couple days. But I would definitely try and stay at the MichaEL Garden. Simply fabulous.

Lovely old town with relaxing pedestrian area to walk through and see all the historic buildings that have a harmony of colour and style. Great restaurant opposite St Francis Church (itself worthy of a visit): Trattoria Al Buco.
Didn't like confusing one way system of narrow streets with parked cars and no easy way out to main roads.
A good location for visiting Syracuse and Modica and beaches of Lido di Noto and San Lorenzo beyond the Vendicari Nature Reserve that has interesting birdlife and greek ruins.
Wow, this was probably one of the best stays we’ve ever had. It is a villa but has the thoughtful amenities of a hotel thanks to the gracious hosts (who were extremely kind and helpful). The location is very private and centrally located to the most beautiful beaches in Sicily. The house itself is stocked with everything you may ever need, very comfortable with heating and a/c and great WiFi. We will be back again!
The property is a small boutique hotel newly renovated with elegant features where modern design meet local Sicilian aesthetics. It’s located at a stone’s throw from all Noto’s attractions and best restaurants. Our room was very elegant, spacious, comfy and extremely clean. The staff was very friendly and the concierge was incredibly helpful with accommodating all our requests. Definitely worth to go back!
Beautiful setting with amazing views towards surrounding hills. Very close to Noto (5 minute drive) and a number of other nice towns (Ragusa, Siracusa etc. are within a 1 hour drive). The suite rooms are finished to a very high standard and pool and restaurant areas were spotless. The staff were all very friendly. The owners have 2 dogs that wander around the place who are both adorable.
It was a wonderful location, an interesting building with super lovely hosts. They were very kind and helpful and friendly - even driving me to the station when I left. They really made me feel at home and that they enjoyed all guests and wanted everyone’s stay to be a happy one. I would definitely stay again if I returned to beautiful Noto; it would feel like visiting old friends!
Very comfortable room. The rooms are newly renovated. The rooms have a small "internal balcony" with no view, but supplies enough fresh air. The rooms were spotless clean!
Breakfast was fabulous- the best we had in Sicily! Mrs. Rosa was so kind and helpful and caring which gives you a feeling of being taken care of.
Everything was perfect!!! Very nice room and bathroom, everything is new, modern but at the same time with a lot of details from Sicilian culture and history. And the breakfast! A journey trough Sicily, everything delicious. Thank you Corrada for your extraordinary hospitality!
It was a privilege to stay in this historic palace, made all the more pleasurable by Monica who proved a wealth of information, helpfulness, and charm. Her love of Landolina is infectious and we thank you for all she did to make our Noto visit such a happy and memorable one.
The location was great for the SE corner of Sicily - many coastal and inland places to visit were within easy reach. The location on the coats was great - a handy shop just a few years away and the property has access straight onto the beach which was handy and fun to have.
We had a wondeful stay thanks to Ambra. The room was very nice with a view of Noto. The breakfast was amazing with fresh vegetables and fruits from her own garden, and she informed in detail on what to see and donin Noto. Highly recommend this place when visiting Noto.
If you are looking for a place in Noto, this is the place! The owners are super nice, they gave us plenty of tips. The hostel is the best one where I have been, it has amenities like an hotel. Our room was extremely spacious and with a stunning view on the Duomo.
Best apartment I have ever rented for holidays. Very spacious, beautiful, great lights, well equipped kitchen (which we did not use) fantastic bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. 2 minutes walk from the Cathedral. A dream place where to stay while visiting Noto.
Good location, near the historic city of Noto. Comfortable large rooms and quiet because of the countryside location. Extremely friendly and helpful reception, catering and cleaning staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Sicily.
I learned a lot about growing grapes and gardening in this very very dry part of Sicily. The birdwatching was good. The B&B has excellent gourmet dinners and makes their own olive oil, flour and wine. The breakfasts were delicious.
Location is perfect 2 minutes from the centre by walking, free parking in front of the house, breakfast is good, only sweet but that is usual in Sicily.
Great value for money, large room, clean, air conditioner.
Both the staff and the location were excellent. Just a 2 minute walk into the city and sites.
Just as important, their bar served the the best glass of Grillo, white wine, so far in Sicily.
Ambra was the kindest host during our holiday in Sicily. She was very informative and keen to assist in every way. The breakfasts were exceptional too.
