It was overall a good hotel with very friendly staff. I will definitely recommend that.
Hotel Brasserie de Kroon is situated in the center of the friendly village Gulpen, at the market square and next to the small river ‘de Gulp’. The rooms are modern decorated.

Staff and reception were fine, our very spatious room was on the top (3rd) floor under the roof with 3 large windows (with blinds). We found a fridge, a TV, a sofa and a table. All the sanitary facilities worked nicely.
The hotel / restaurant has a very nice terrace where you can drink after your (our) walk.
Breakfast was good, served at the table (no buffet), but enough to choose from.
All in all a good price for the offering!

We stayed here as Valkenburg was fully booked for the Christmas market except for expensive places. There was a frequent bus that ran until about 2300 hours, returning to Gulpen at 2220 from the market, we went to the local pub for a few drinks and it had an amazing atmosphere. Really enjoyed our weekend there.

Gulpen is the second best place to stay in this area (apart from Valkenburg). It provides everything you need for a nice vacation, just a bit smaller. There's a great beer brewery and some very nice restaurants. It's a great starting point for hikes.

The accommodation cannot be in a better location, our family loved it, our accommodation consisted of 2 separate rooms, double bed each, with views over the square. The breakfast was perfect. We only stayed one night unfortunately. The pannenkoekmolen, highly recommended, is walking distance, so is the Gulpener Brewery. Excellent setting, highly reccomend!
Pretty hotel, lovely location.
Free minted water, delish.
Shower and toilet very spacious.
Easy bus routes to Valkenburg, railway station to Maastricht, Brussels, Aachen etc.
Gulpen is very beautiful, but everything is very expensive. A litre of beer and two glasses of pop was €22.
I really loved the location, since it was off-season the hotel is the only place that is opened 7 days/week. They sell nice bears and good meals. The room was very spacy, so was the bathroom. A big parking lot was available within 100 meters, including EV chargers.
We booked two rooms, and they were both quite spacy. The Hotel is nicely located in the center of Gulpen. All we needed was presented. We had a nice evening at the restaurant, the staff was nice and the atmosphere there pleased us.
* Central location in Gulpen, right on the Krijtlandpad route
* Lovely big breakfast. I was well set up for a big day of walking
* Two small roof terraces to enjoy sunny weather, but away from the hustle & bustle of the Markt
The location is very good. Staff is very friendly, room was big enough and clean. Breakfast was good. There is also a free parking very close to the hotel. The meal served in their restaurant was also very delicious.
