Everything was perfect. We were welcomed by our host very warmly, he helped us carry our luggage and accompanied us to find a parking place… We got a bottle of wine, a homemade breakfast, even a little souvenir. A very big thank you to our host and his mother who were very kind. The apartment is perfectly located, the decoration is vintage with very pleasant colors which make the room warm. We even had tea and herbal tea, which is very nice for people who consume it on a daily basis. Shower gel, bath towel… just PERFECT. I recommend ++++ we look forward to coming back in a while. Thanks again. 👌🏼

Wonderful small town on the sea coast, with great restaurants, beautiful views, nice shops, lots of history. I ate along the sea walk several times, got a local private tour, took a bus to the nearest town Portoroz. Would highly recommend seeing Piran!

Right up there with the Amalfi Coast and Cinque Terra in the gorgeous seaside village sweepstakes. Breathtaking views everywhere you look. Pretty main square with beautiful 18th and 19th century architecture. Crystal clear water for swimming, although there are no sand beaches, but piers and jetties. Lots of nice restaurants with sea / sunset views

Piran is a very compact town so it is easy to walk but take care with the uneven cobblestones. There is a wide range of eating places. The cement area in front of the sea was a surprise: there is no sand. The free shuttle was handy for getting luggage from the very expensive parking garage (the only option for visitors). Our hostess, Bruna, was a memorable part of the visit.

Piran is an idyllic peninsula of Slovenia, it's a very small village and therefore; I wish I'd stayed less than the 3 nights I did. The nearby towns are bigger and more touristy and have little to offer in terms of culture.
I'd highly recommend using Piran for its ferries, the walking tour that includes food tasting and the salt spa/pans that are able to be reached by bus. But, also relaxing in the sun by the sea and enjoying the delicious restaurants.

We really enjoyed Piran because we experienced it solely on foot. We left our car at our apartment on the hilltop. You can enter Piran by car through a policed barrier or park in the public car parks on the hilltop or cliffside but they looked pricey and very busy - cars queueing.
Piran has atmosphere, lots of charm and character from the fine square with its clock tower boasting views over to Italy (modelled on the tower in San Marco Venezia) The maze of tiny streets with peeling paint in ice cream colours, laundry flying from balconies, geraniums pouring from window boxes, a fine harbour, places to swim and some fabulous restaurants made this town a delight to explore. It feels very southern mediterranean with its crystal clear blue green waters, gelato cafes selling pistachio and peach ice cream. Everyone was friendly when I tried to order in Slovenian. Locals wish you Good Day
We felt Slovenia was a top destination with so many contrasts from bear-watching to climbing in the Julian Alps, kayaking over Lake Cerknica and white-water rafting on the Soca River - what a country!
This is a very clean and beautiful house, the house is divided into 4 floors, each floor has a different function is perfect. The location is very good, maybe you don,t know how to find the first arrival, but ask the shop assistant at the near shop can know. The householder was very kind and provided me a lot of advice and help. Although I did not drive here, she also prepared parking cards for us, which was very considerate. I highly recommend my friends to stay here if they come to Piran next time, you won't be disappointed.
The location was great. Close to the free shuttle, walking distance to cafes, restaurants and a nice view of the town. The place was very clean, nice layout had a great balcony. The kitchen was a nice size and was fully stocked with cookery. A nice place to stay for a week or more. Fredi was great in getting back with us when we informed him about having to pay for parking when we entered town to unload our baggage. Instructions on how to access the apartment and where to park the car after unloading were good.
We made breakfast by ourselves in the kitchen on the top floor of this special very old house (I think 700 years old house). The house is a part of the old medieval centre, which is inside the old town walls right on the seaside. Maybe 15 metres from the shore. Parking is difficult, of course, this cannot be changed. It is not advised to park down in the town, it is too small for so many tourists and cars. I recommend Arze parking, if you like a small hike around 10 mins - pleasant experience.
Very nice appartment with a big terrace (shared) on the cliffs over Piran. The appartment was very well equipped. Very tastefully decorated. Free parking. Everything within walking distance, so we did not touch the car during our stay. Calm residental aerea. The hosts were nice and took their time to give us reccomandations and information, even though we arrived at an akward moment. A lot of possibilities for walking/bikecycling. We would stay there again if we were to go back to Piran.
We had an excellent five-day stay at PachaMama in Piran. Perfectly located almost at the main square, it was close to everything yet quiet enough for peaceful nights. There’s plenty to do nearby, and the area is great for leisurely walks. The staff was notably super friendly and helpful, assisting us with parking outside the city. What really impressed us were the sustainable features of the hotel. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Piran!
The Location was terrific, parking has to be at the garage up the hill but they made that super easy. The staff was great and very helpful. Breakfast had a lot of options and fresh fruit which I loved. Our room was clean and well cared for and we got a great nights sleep even though we were on the busy street side. I lost an item when leaving at the parking garage and they helped me get it back which I really appreciated!
The hosts were very helpful about everything considering parking because you can't park in the city. When we asked if there is a hair dryer in the building (we forgot ours) they said that there isn't, but in few hours they managed to get us one. Everything in the apartment is just as it needs to be and you have everything you need to prepare food and have a wonderful time. Location is in the old town so everything is close.
Hotel in Piran downtown was amazing! Amazing breakfast and great and comfy bed we were looking for. Yeap, we dropped our car in parking lot far away, but then we started to enjoy our stay without any transportation. Piran is lovely town with unique atmosphere and this hotel supports our great feelings from this place. If we return to Piran for sure we will choose "Second Life in Piran - Hotel Zala" for our next stay.
Very nice and clean apartment, quiet location, suitable for those who don't want to live in the center and don't mind going uphill. A great advantage is the possibility to park the car directly at the apartment. Parking in Piran is quite a problem. Second double bed a bit small (for two smaller children or a couple who really like to snuggle all night :)) Owners are great and willing to help with everything.
The location on Tartini Sq was wonderful. We had a view of the square and of the church of St George, which were lit at night, from our room. We were there on a Thursday night in May and there was no problem with loud noise or music coming from the square. The staff at the front desk and at breakfast was very accommodating. The advance directions for finding the parking garage were exact and very Exhelpful.
Great location in town centre, the only disadvantage of the location was the impossibility of parking, however, we parked in the Arze garage about 10 minutes (by walk) from the hotel. Reception staff looked a bit bored. However breakfast staff was great, breakfast were delicious too. Room was a little small, but our room had a big terrace.
This was our second stay at Hotel Piran. It was fabulous. The staff were attentive and friendly. The room was excellent with a balcony and sea view. The breakfast was very good. The car parking was at the garage and a courtesy bus picked us up from there. This is a great place to stay in beautiful Piran.
Fantastic location. Exceptionally kind and friendly host. Excellent communication. Provided safe parking spot (much cheaper than public parking) that could otherwise be a problem in Piran. We had only one night stay, but we had all we needed. Definitely worth a reccomendation
The location was excellent, being close to restaurants and the main plaza, and the room was spacious and comfortable. They also included free parking in the price, which is normally very expensive when staying at a place in the center of town.
Small apartment, but clean and good for a few days stay.
Good location in quiet part of town, but not too far from beach and in walking distance to the old town of Piran.
Very good breakfast
Parking right in front of the apartment
Spacious room with small kitchenette, spacious bathroom equipped with rain shower, sink, washing machine. Quiet but well situated in Piran, 10min walk from parking garage Arze. We got some water bottles and cookies as welcoming gift.
Lovely, clean boutique hotel with very helpful staff, particularly Barbara. Great location to see gorgeous Piran but the town is really hard to get into and out of. Memento made it as easy as possible.
