Lake George is very pretty and there is much to do.
Lake George is very pretty and there is much to do. Very popular and something for everyone. Many places to eat which we enjoyed very much (i.e. The Boardwalk and The Lagoon.). The kids went parasailing for the first time.. Lots of ice cream shops. Friendly people. Memorial Day weekend weather was perfect for us.

Lake George is truly beautiful we drove around it and enjoyed the forests and small scenic villages. We did not like the Village of Lake George which is fast becoming a tacky beach town with countless tee shirt shops and noisy restaurants. The highlight of our trip was visiting Sagamore Resort, reflecting the early days on the lake.

Lake George is nice on and off season.
Lake George is nice on and off season. During off seasons it may be a bit harder to entertain the kids. After memorial day everything opens for fun from the little smaller arcades and rides to the beaches and Six flags/Water Park. The water park indoors at 6 flags is open off seaso . On season and off season usually are on the higher side of pricing. Very clean area, beautiful scenery with plenty to do and see so the money is worth it. If you're a fan of hot dogs, street corn and tacos with a nice cold lemonade (680 flavor options i believe) Check out the lemonade stand a few buildings over from the fort! would love to camp or rent a cabin for the fourth but could only imagine the demand!

Do not go before Month of May, since the ferry-cruise not in operation...so, not much activities. Yet it is a wonderfull view and aerea to visit.
It is full of restaurants...though we used also Walmart food since located very close the facilities.

Lake George is a beautiful family friendly place to visit.
Lake George is a beautiful family friendly place to visit. There are lots of stores and restaurants to choose from, you will not be disappointed! Your right near the Great Escape Amusement Park which open until the end of the evening then closed for the winter months. There are plenty of stores, shops and sites to see and trails to walk, you will never be bored nor would your children if you are bring them along with you.

The area was beautiful we were only there for three days and we should have booked a week. Our next visit is going to be a week. The lake is gorgeous and there are so many activities in the area. It was clean and safe.
My husband and I were very pleased with the hotel. It is in a great location and definitely walking distance to town. I am 8 months pregnant and the only time we drove was to go to the outlets and to a restaurant for dinner. The hotel was very clean and the staff at the hotel was very nice. I thought maybe the hotel was a little pricy but I understand that the hotel may have increased their rates to make up for any business lost during COVID. My husband and I plan on visiting Lake George again and will probably book this hotel again.
This property while a little outdated was clean, comfortable , reasonable and a great stay. We took our Granddaughter to Lake George for 5 nights and stayed here. We had a great trip. The rooms were cleaned every day. We went in both pools which were clean and comfortable. We ate breakfast twice at the cafe on the property which was delicious and attended the Polynesian dinner show which was entertaining and delicious. Our Granddaughter loved getting to go on stage and learn the dance. Would stay here again.
The pool was immaculate, the spaces created outside for relaxing were beautiful (cafe lights, cornhole, grills, fire pits). We got a suite so that we could have a kitchenette and that was definitely worth paying extra for! Not a bad walk into Lake George downtown area! In the suite there are a lot of homey touches and nice decor that made it feel welcoming and less institutional like other hotels.
We had an excellent time staying in the Lake George. We had a wonderful accommodations at the hotel. All the activities that we arranged to do where in walking distance or a short drive away. Our only regret is that we were there early in the season. However even with that it was a great time and the hotel staff was very responsive to our needs.
Great little spot for our family trip to lake George! The room was super clean and perfect size for our needs. Close to the village and we could have walked but ended up taking the car because of weather/ heat. Very helpful staff and the pool was awesome!
The location of this hotel is perfect, right in town and we were able to walk to everything. We got a family suite which was huge and very clean. The property was very well maintained with beautiful flowers and a spectacular view of the lake.
The location of the hotel was excellent. It was on the edge of town, but within walking distance to many fine restaurants and stores. The pool area and fire pit sitting area was very attractive with a view of Lake George.
Great location at Lake George. Not quite walking distance to the main beach, but still easy to get around.
Rooms were very clean, it was obvious the property was well taken care of.
Beds were very comfortable.
Close to the water. room have lots of table. good for summer time. parking lot is right next to the building. hotel is relatively close to shops, restaurants and other attractions in Lake George.
Location! It’s right on the lake which is all you need. it’s also walking distance to the town. This is the 6th time we are staying at this hotel and would stay no where else in Lake George!
I didn't get to check in! I was told I couldn't check in when I got to the hotel because no rooms were available! I was charged the price anyway although I called the hotel twice!
