Doramas was extremely helpful and kind. He responded very quickly whenever we reached out to him. The location is very beautiful and the facilities were all there, including grounded coffee and a coffee maker. We enjoyed petting the donkeys and we were allowed to help Doramas feed them :) The chickens are fun to watch and make cute sounds, especially in the morning.

Bedrooms are simple but very clean, with comfortable beds and large storage. Common spaces are so cozy, we loved the library. Some of the bedrooms are inside the "main" house, some are in the old stall, facing a lovely patio.

Although in Antigua shadow is uncommon, the house was pleasantly fresh both day and night, thanks to its ancient structure and to a lovely breeze. The host was extremely helpful and kind, and also allowed us a delayed check-out. Very, very recommended. As the compound has a three sibling houses, it would be a perfect solution also for holidays with friends.

Wasn’t a problem cooking at the same time as other guests. Water, coffee and tea were provided as well as chocolate and cookies. The place is quiet, authentic and cozy in an old fashioned kind of way. It felt really nice to sit and read around the patio, all common spaces are really inviting. A suprisingly good stop on my way south.
