Set in 44 acres of gardens and woodland, Thainstone House is just 15 minutes from Aberdeen Dyce International Airport. The hotel has a luxury spa and fitness centre, and a free parking. Skotlannin historiallisimpiin hotelleihin kuuluvassa Pittodrie Housessa on torneja ja kierreportaita. Se sijaitsee 970 hehtaarin tontilla vain 30 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Aberdeenista. We were very impressed! All the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. This is a delightful old Scottish Manor, kept in very good condition and clean. After many stairs and long hallways befitting an old manor, we found our room. A huge corner room with beautiful views of the gardens. We even had a nice big bathtub which was a real treat after a day and a half of air travel to get to Aberdeen. Dinner was excellent and the restaurant has an intimate romantic atmosphere with a lovely view of the expansive grounds. Breakfast was the full Scottish fare, again looking out onto the surrounding green meadows. It’s in a perfect location especially if arriving late afternoon in Aberdeen, only a 1/2 hour from the airport. We couldn’t have asked for better!
