Welcome to Cardhu Country House which sits in the very heart of the Malt Whisky Trail. The location is fabulous, quiet and secluded, but easy driving distance to the surrounding sites in the area. The beds were very comfortable. The food was delicious. But most importantly, we really enjoyed chatting with our hosts, Colin and Sarah. They are fabulous and what make the Country House the perfect place to stay when visiting the area.

Boasting mountain views, Tornacraig 8 Person Country House on Royal Deeside features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 24 km from Balmoral Castle. We liked the house and everything, views were stunning, closeness to the nature, deers walking around surrounding forest, river.etc. We found hidden gems like Breamar Town with ski resort, Balmoral Castle our Queen Elisabeth favourite one where she used to loved hunting. Lovely, amazing Highlands in Scotland we never forget it and we definitely come back.

Set in 44 acres of gardens and woodland, Thainstone House is just 15 minutes from Aberdeen Dyce International Airport. The hotel has a luxury spa and fitness centre, and a free parking. One of the most historic hotels in Scotland with turrets and spiral staircases, Pittodrie House is set in 2,400 acres of land, just a 30-minute drive from Aberdeen. We were very impressed! All the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. This is a delightful old Scottish Manor, kept in very good condition and clean. After many stairs and long hallways befitting an old manor, we found our room. A huge corner room with beautiful views of the gardens. We even had a nice big bathtub which was a real treat after a day and a half of air travel to get to Aberdeen. Dinner was excellent and the restaurant has an intimate romantic atmosphere with a lovely view of the expansive grounds. Breakfast was the full Scottish fare, again looking out onto the surrounding green meadows. It’s in a perfect location especially if arriving late afternoon in Aberdeen, only a 1/2 hour from the airport. We couldn’t have asked for better!

In 350 acres of mature woodland and peaceful rolling parkland, this beautiful country house hotel has its very own private golf course, free Wi-Fi and charming, elegant, individually decorated rooms. lots of character, but very modern at the same time. We ate in a cave! Food and service were fantastic
