This is a really elegant hotel in an historic merchant's house, which has been beautifully converted without losing its character. I was given a warm welcome, even though I arrived earlier than expected and all the arrangements were explained very carefully. The hotel isn't staffed all the time but there are contact numbers available for out of hours support. Most of the rooms are on the first floor but help was provided with my luggage. There's a good supply of water, wine and other drinks which added to the experience.

The check in was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Shower was a good size. My husband had breakfast which was plentiful.

It is more than a hotel. Since traveling, the accommodations are beautiful, very warm, the staff are like family members, the breakfast is very good, considered to be the best hotel I have ever stayed at.
