Beautiful room with airco and exceptional bathroom. Dinner was great and so was the breakfast. The upgrade we got helped a little, but I'm sure even the regular rooms are great.

I liked everything about this hotel, the location was good for exploring the Peak District, and was easy to get to Sheffield and Chesterfield as well. The staff were very nice and helpful, excellent breakfast, and free parking and wi-fi.

Quaint home close to Chatsworth if you plan to visit there. Hosts were so welcoming, wonderful traditional breakfast & cake in the evenings. Very clean and comfortable.

The entrance is in the 'wrong' place. The bar is out of sight and behind locked doors. The breakfasts were excellent, as were the staff in the dining room.

The entrance made the first impression with stunning decorations. The pub is cosy (also beautifully decorated) with a great atmosphere. Friendly, efficient staff and delicious food: for dinner and breakfast. Bedroom was gorgeous: lovely quirky decor and a generous bathroom with lots of thoughtful extras. Kudos to management and team who clearly work extremely hard to maintain an exceptionally high standard. Probably the best stay we've had through Booking.com and we've had a lot!
