The overall ambiance of the Inn is quaint and relaxing. It is set in a rural countryside that is scenic. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and knowledgeable. Since breakfast was included in our stay, the price was a good deal. For an extra cost, we ate in a pub below our room. The food was good. The whole experience was everything I love about England.

Very quiet location...the innkeeper was wonderful to us...we had need of a fan and she responded quickly...just a short drive into Dorchester which was a fun city...a GREAT pub the "Sun Inn" was just a short drive down the road and had wonderful food if you were time constrained...Great breakfast!!

The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was amazing - I had the full English (perfectly cooked) there was an assortment of continental options as well. Our breakfast hostess was super. We did have an evening meal on the Sunday and the roast was gorgeous (better than any carvery). My wife had the Nourish Bowl which she said was 'divine'.

The lounge a perfect size and layout. sofas are as comfortable as they look. The breakfast was fruit, yogurt, pastry and a cooked breakfast, all delicious and laid out beautifully when you come down to eat. oh and your host Debbie is one of the most lovely people you will ever meet. make sure you ask her about the history of The Old Tea House, you will not be disappointed.JodieYoung couple
