We had a severe disruption to our travel plans and the staff at the front desk helped us get our trip back on track. I’ve never had service that kind and helpful. When we left they arranged coffee and a light breakfast to go with. Top marks to them all.

There was nothing to fault about the hotel. The staff were friendly, breakfast was lovely, it was my birthday so we had an evening meal there too & it was perfect, even sat outside afterwards for a drink. Especially liked the decor it had been done to a very high standard. Train station was 2 minutes walk away so we didn’t need to take the car all the time.

The property is a quaint old mill turned pub and rooms on a lovely back part of the new forest. It has blossoming gardens of flowers and beautiful eco system river running through and is beautiful to look at as it has the old style of the building along with new modern furnishings inside. The bedrooms are well thought out with their design and furnishings/layout and have every amenity you could wish for. Parking is ample and very lovely location.

The location was very central, near the shops and the quay. It was really great to have designated car parking nearby. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant and we were allowed into our room early as it was ready. The room was quirky, stylish and spacious and so was the bathroom. It was also comfortable with 2 chairs, one being a very comfortable leather armchair. The white fluffy towels and white cotton bedding was great. The hotel/pub itself was very historic and thus had a quirky layout and a special atmosphere.

Friendly, helpful, cheerful staff on arrival and throughout my whole stay. Nothing was a problem. A very smartly dressed and polite gentleman helped me up the stairs with my case on arrival and Anneta was lovely! Cheerful and friendly with all the guests in the morning and having breakfast. The room was beautiful, super comfortable bed, stunning bathroom with a super shower. Quality tea bags and cafetiere coffee. Stylish bedroom and bathroom interiors, quality bed linen.

Lovely location set between Lymington and Christchurch so easy access to get to all locations if venturing out. It is the main road that leads straight to Lymington, New Forest, Christchurch, Bournemouth etc. Bed was big comfortable, with little kitchen set up inside ie microwave, fridge, tea maker so handy. Easy to park and you could easily jump on the bus route if needed. The house is in a quiet little street with no noise from neighbours. A nice little place to stay. Lovely interior design, bright airy nice.
