the location within the walls of Monemvasia was ideal. Absolutely charming and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional with daily baked goods. The outdoor patio next to our room was perfect to use for drawing, sipping wine and relaxing. Our stay and accommodations exceeded expectations! Highly recommend!

The staff were amazingly helpful. Michael advised us where to go and what to do. On our second day, we even took a day trip to nearby island Elephonisos (Simos beach), that was spectacular. The location (within the Fort) was spot on, very quiet but still close to the commercial stretch of Monemvasia .. easy to access the sea from a ladder on the rocks which is also an experience. Would definitely visit again, and perhaps stay on the top floor for an even better view.

The location was marvellous and the view as well. The rooms were luxurious and the stuff very polite. The weather was cold when we visited, however the rooms were warm and cosy.

Nothing was too much to ask, he even offered to deliver us coffees! They were helpful from the moment we arrived even bringing us pans to cook with. We also ate at the taverna next door which was lovely. The view from the room was stunning, sunrise was amazing. The pool was perfect, great sun loungers. The room was always spotlessly clean and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back next year with our friends, thank you!

We really enjoyed the pool - great adult pool with a bar was just perfect for winding down. Really appreciated the fact that bottled water was not charged throughout our stay. This includes the minibar and the pool.

The view from the terrace is the best! we spend endless hours looking at the sea with the complimentary wine our lovely guests had left for us. Matina is an incredibly kind and proactive hostess, she made our arrival and departure very smooth! we would definitely be back if we are visiting Monemvassia again
