The hotel is located in an old villa that preserves the spirit of that time and is surrounded by a small but very atmospheric park. The hotel staff were very kind and gave us some good advice. The location is very convenient, a few minutes walk to the boat station from which you can go to the Borromean Islands. The breakfast was excellent.

The lack of mobile internet was a little confusing when entering and exiting Lapat, but it was easily resolved with a phone call. The apartment is fully equipped with everything. I loved the view from the veranda, the proximity to the sea, and the convenience of being close to the central station.

Even though I’ve stayed just for one night and didn’t use the kitchen, all the utensils are there for you. The bed and mattress are very comfortable. You can park next to the property for free, which is great. The apartment is very close to the city center, just 10 min walk to the lake promenade or to the Stresa train station. It’s so quite and peaceful.

I was lucky enough to have a view of the Isola Bella from the bathroom. The view from the balcony was to die for . For the price I could only get the back room of at other similar hotels. I love the flowers in their garden keeping in tradition with bygone days. The pool was lovely for a swim in the afternoons. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh.
