This is one of the few places we have found to stay where you can relax totally knowing that if you have any queries or requests the hosts Monique and Wim, who speak excellent English and are a mine of local information, will be at your service. The rooms are large and well equiped and the site has an excellent swimming pool, covered car parking and lovely gardens where you are free to roam at will. You need to like animals as you will soon be approached by three large, but very friendly dogs. We were lucky to have the excellent and entertaining company of fellow guests from Portugal and New Zealand.

The hotel’s location just within the city walls was perfect. Everything about the hotel itself was first class and the breakfasts, in particular, were the best we have ever had at a hotel. Great breakfast in the morning; Continental offered as well as Eggs and Bacon. Nice social areas inside and out, with a nice light menu for tapas, lunch, beer and wine. Staff is very friendly. We had the room with the patio; very spacious and great to sit out with coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening.

The facilities in the room met all of our needs. The room and bathroom were very clean and of a good size. The location was perfect for exploring Evora. We enjoyed an excellent lunch and the choices at breakfast were extensive. Staff were very helpful, polite and clearly trained to a high level. An excellent hotel.
