The staff was very helpful, we arrived before our room was ready but they allowed us to leave our bags in a safe place so we could go to the sanctuary without a problem. The hotel is very near from the sanctuary and a couple of minutes walking from the bus station, very convenient. The room was comfy and had good WIFI, the hotel has an elevator which is good if you are traveling with big and heavy bags. The bathroom was nice and had everything that we needed. I highly recommend Hotel Santo Antonio.

We have stayed at the Avenida Hotel several times and have never been disappointed. The location is just a few minutes walk from the Sanctuary and Basilica of Our Lady of Fatima which are accessed by a slightly steep hill from the hotel. We stayed bed and breakfast and found a great selection of food. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable and the reception area is a beautiful with large sofas scattered around. The staff are very friendly; particularly the blondish lady on reception (who prepared for us to have a takeaway breakfast due to our very early start) and the gentleman with the long hair (in a bun). We found a lovely little outside sun area, situated behind the bar which was perfect for a glass of wine or coffee. We look forward to our next stay at Hotel Avenida.

Great value for money. The hotel is clean and it’s quite true to the photos, and the staff are very accommodating. The pool and gym are a nice addition to the hotel. I like that they do housekeeping everyday, and that the room has balcony. It’s also near to the sanctuary and small shopping&souvenir stores, with restaurants close by.

It was a very relaxing stay. We appreciated the large room and bathroom as well as the choice of pillows. We were not rushed with the check out at noon and the bilingual front desk staff were very nice. The location was perfect, only minutes away from the sanctuary.
