Lovely room in an old historic hotel. Great bed, lovely bathroom and great sitting area with a fireplace. Really like the historic elements and the brewery attached to the hotel. It’s in a great location for walking to downtown attractions.

This fully restored historic mansion, located in Buffalo city centre, boasts personalized butler services and elegantly decorated guestrooms. Shea's Performing Arts Center is 3 minutes’ drive away.

The Mansion on Delaware Avenue features rooms with cable TV and free Wi-Fi access. Decorated in soft colours and plush bedding, these rooms also have a work desk. Some have a spa bath.

The Mansion is an elegant testimony to the wealth of capitalists of the Gilded Age, high ceiling, large glass windows, beautiful carved woodwork on the railings and around the doors. One can imagine living there with servants at your beck and call. The staff at the Mansion does an excellent job of taking care of their guests in a warm, engaging manner, so that the feeling is one of caring and kindness. As a solo traveler the availability of transportation for short distances is an added convenience and safety feature. A trip just a few blocks away was appreciated at night. The breakfasts are delicious. The bar is a welcome gathering spot at the end of the day. This is my go to hotel when I come to Buffalo. Thank you for the accommodation and the service.

We had the junior suite. I loved the set up of the room. The staff was very knowledgeable on how to get around the area, we used the train to get back and forth from the key bank center. The coffee cafe was also lovely and the food and coffee were great. The parking garage was affordable and the train was free.

The hotel was so beautiful. The tea room and solarium were so cozy. But it was the room that really took the cake. We stayed in the Champagne and we were blown away by the interior design as well as the spaciousness of the room. Such great value too.

Breakfast was fine. The decor is a clean, austere style that blends surprisingly well with the Victorian Gothic bones of the building. The decorators wisely left the lineaments of the building in place, which allows one to see in the high ceilings, the many windows looking out on greenery, that the design was meant to be humane.

The hotel is pretty funky and cool. Our room was spacious, and had a fridge and comfy bed. Bathroom design is a bit unusual, but still works. The room was nice and quiet. There is a shuttle to and from the airport, which we needed as we were without a car and arrived on a late night flight. When we did pick up a rental car, the shopping and grocery stores were close by. I would stay here again and recommend it.

The Edward is a wonderful hotel - I stayed there during a recent business trip and was delighted with every aspect of my stay. The hotel is stylish and beautifully designed; the rooms are well-appointed and very comfortable; the location is ideal; and the atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and cozy. The hotel has a self check-in system that is secure, safe, and easy to navigate. And, the owner - Erin - was so helpful and accommodating during my stay. I recommend The Edward unreservedly - it is a lovely place to stay!
