Wentworth Falls
Located in Wentworth Falls, Valley of the Waters Bed & Breakfast boasts stunning views over the Jamison Valley towards the Southern Highlands. It is 15 minutes' drive from Katoomba Scenic World and the Three Sisters. Breakfast was really good and much needed on a cold winter morning! The portion was adequate as well. The host was thoughtful in including amenities needed for winter, such as an electric blanket, making the stay much more comfortable. The view from the balcony was amazing, with a clear view of the mountains and the stars at night. The room was also clean and spacious :)

Katoomba
200 meters from Katoomba Train Station, The Carrington offers elegant accommodation in a heritage-listed refurbished manor. It features fine dining and casual dining options, multiple bars and a performance space. Our two days in the Blue Mountains unfortunately fell victim to the Northeaster coming in - visibility was less than 100m, sometimes even the other side of the street seemed foggy and it rained cats and dogs. So we were very happy about this cozy hotel! It is historic and well-preserved (but of course with all modern amenities you need in the rooms). Fun to explore the different rooms, there's a nice bar and somewhere they have hidden away a brewery it seems. Oh, and the dining room... Great - had a good breakfast there (we had enjoyed dinner in the other brewery in town). The room was a bit smaller than expected, but for one night it was ok. It was quiet and we slept very well. There is a new parking garage next to the hotel - only disadvantage is, that you are exposed to the elements when you walk over there.
Katoomba
Guest rooms feature a flat-screen TV, air-conditioning, en-suite with shower and either a full-sized bath or spa. Many rooms and suites also have their own romantic real flame fireplace. Each of the 41 guestrooms features high ceilings and bespoke collector furniture crafted from imported British Columbia timbers and paired with stylish soft furnishings embracing the traditions of European country houses. Some rooms feature picturesque mountain views. OMG - I love this hotel! From the minute we arrived, we were so warmly greeted by staff and it was just fantastic til the moment we left! Old fashioned (but refurbished!) hotel right near the centre of town... five minutes walk if you take the pathway. The room was huge and fabulous! It even had a couch... Friendly and helpful staff Room was quiet Beds were so comfy No elevators but stairs are fine Dinner with a view and food was delicious and it was so nice just being able to walk up to your room after your meal... But we didn't - because there was also a proper bar with a proper piano man playing music all night long - so wonderful! We listened right to the end. We have never done this before and had no idea how enjoyable this can be. Lovely huge lounge Plenty of parking on site Competitive rates with the other properties in Katoomba - so happy we chose to stay here as was a just an all-round experience like what you see in the old movies!

Location and the interior design
I like the outstanding design of the hotel and the great view of the lobby and the outside garden.
So glad we discovered this cottage. It’s absolutely beautiful inside and out. An interior designer’s dream! We ended up staying just us a couple but look forward to bringing the family with us next time.

Stylish boutique hotel still feeling rustic within the blue mountains
Loved how they have turned an old motel into a gem - the aesthetic and design, the comfort, the facilities were all incredibly well thought out. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful and check in/out were painless. The restaurant was probably the highlight - fantastic food and cocktails, including a beautifully presented and scrumptious complimentary grazing table breakfast. My girlfriends had a memorable weekend getaway and we would be happy to recommend the Kiah to anyone.
lovely breakfast and design of the hotel. loved the use of the sauna
We loved the overall Palm Springs style of the place. The rooms were just lovely and very spacious with a gorgeous, leafy outlook where you could see the fog roll in in the evenings and morning. The furnishings were lovely, especially loved the art-deco velvet chair and green velvet curtains. Definitely gave it more of a bougie, luxurious and boutique feel.
