Beautiful building, lovely designed rooms, air conditioning, pool, good location

We loved everything about our stay at Santa Maria. My favourite place we stayed whilst travelling for 6 weeks. They kindly offered us v impressive room, the decor in the relaxing areas was so calming. We instantly felt at home thanks to kind, friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous breakfasts and the most relaxing and tranquil location. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. In particular to Leo who went above and beyond to help.

The Pousada is really lovely. The owner, Peter, and his staff are very welcoming. The shared spaces such as the breakfast area and hammocks are awesome.

Fantastic place to stay in Barreirinhas. Really top class service, food, accommodation, facilities and more. It’s a large complex, very well designed, with so much to do. We only left the premises once to go for dinner in the town, otherwise everything was readily available. Beautiful wide-ranging breakfast, great food overall, 3 swimming pools, a kids play area, sauna, massage, kayaking, easy access to excellent tours, friendly staff and a lovely clientele. A hammock outside each room was a very nice touch. Highly, highly recommended.

Staff were so helpful and lovely. They sorted out our travel on to jeri at the last minute whihh we were very stressed about!

Mattress great, pillows phenomenal, breakfast good, location idyllic, simple but functional design. 10 mins by foot from centre and we loved it that way.

Amazing place, the best place I stayed during my travel of 5 months! The owners are really kind and Peter makes the best fresh breakfast you can imagine! The garden is beautiful and the way the rooms and place are designed is very special and beautiful. I loved it!

Great place, very tranquil and relaxed atmosphere. The place was designed and maintained very well, with a great eye for details. The breakfast, prepared fresh every day by the owner was amazing and with an interesting daily variety. The basic but good amenities (ie. no TV and airconditioning) really add up to the experience of tranquility and the general feel of Atins. Would definitely recommend!
