Scenically situated in the heart of the Black Forest, Hotel-Gasthof Zum Weyssen Rössle is a timber-framed hotel located in Schiltach. It offers a garden, a terrace, and free WiFi access. The hotel is a traditional building with a beautiful half timbered dinning room. For this type of property the rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The host, Rose was very accomodating and couldn’t have been more helpful with our needs. Free parking beside the hotel was a bonus.

After a very warm welcome, we entered the apartments. They look even better than on the pictures, and have very nice ambiance, that perfectly matches the black forest. We had a 2 day stay only to visit the Rhine waterfalls in Schaffhaussen, Triberg and Feldberg (for some snow). The town nearby (900m) has a nice supermarket. Our host offered to bring fresh buns every morning, which is a good start of the day.

Hotel Café Adler is situated in Triberg in the picturesque Black Forest. The hotel offers a terrace and a restaurant. Super helpful and friendly lady at check in and breakfast. Hotel is very central to Triberg attractions. Rooms was clean, comfortable and warm. Nice breakfast and great cafe next door/part of hotel with great chocolates and cakes and coffee.
