Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park. The beautiful rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. Wonderful settings, located right in front of the lake promenade start, with a beautiful view towards the mountains and even the lake. Also very close to Keswick city center. The room was very comfortable, the lounge area was as well. Very good breakfast. I definitely recommend the Highfield.

A Ambleside Townhouse, de gerência familiar está localizada em Ambleside, a 800 metros do Lago Windermere. Ambleside Townhouse is a lovely accommodation. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. We had a spacious, quiet room with comfy beds and a nice view. Especially in the evenings, we were able to enjoy the sunset. The breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes and sourdough bread with scrambled eggs and salmon. We enjoyed fantastic hikes in the area.

A apenas 1,6 km do Lago Windermere, esta bela casa vitoriana está situada em um local tranquilo entre Windermere e Bowness. Rooms were small, but very clean and comfortable. The staff and the breakfast were both excellent.

Situado em Levens, a 18 km do World of Beatrix Potter, O The Hare and Hounds, Levens oferece acomodações com jardim, estacionamento privativo gratuito, terraço e restaurante. The guidebook in the room was very helpful and provided information about things to do in the Lake District area, by foot or car. I took a 45 minute walk around the nearby farm and enjoyed quiet, scenic views. The unit we stayed in consisted of a large living room, full kitchen, bedroom, and bath with shower and tub. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, both meals were scrumptious. There was a great vibe at dinner and it was clear that this is not just a spot for guests, but also popular with the locals. Parking was available just across the street. We would definitely stay here again.
