Our room was so charming and comfortable. It was a perfect getaway even in winter. Very cozy and warm. Breakfast was delicious and had many options to choose from. The parking was an added bonus. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

On the edge of The Peak District, this modern, boutique hotel boasts stylish rooms with LED TVs and countryside views. Elegant, comfortable, private and well appointed rooms. Extra touches included local milk and bottled water in the mini fridge. A very nice restaurant with experienced and well informed staff. A very interesting wine list. The menu was compromised of locally sourced produce and delicious although the food was noticeably overly salted. Convenient parking and reception staff available 24 hours.

A unique accommodation on a canal boat moored at a quay very near the city center. Quite fun! Spotlessly clean and run by a charming host. If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton, go elsewhere. But if you are in the mood for something different in a great location with all needs met, give this houseboat a try! There’s an easy to understand guide to the facilities on the boat. Included parking is right at the boat and directions to access are complete and simple. Nearby pubs and cafes. If you go, and you see owner Mark around the boats in the morning, talk to him! He is friendly with loads of stories and information and can tell you all about the boats. Our first visit to Sheffield, an interesting city with lots of history and many restaurants, pubs and historical sights. We hope to be back!

Situated in Baslow, 2 km from Chatsworth House, The Devonshire Arms boasts a restaurant, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site. Very cute 'pub with rooms'! It's homey and decorated nicely, with cute touches like the craft beer in the room (which we took home and gifted to our partners who said it was fantastic!). We had a meal the night of our stay and it was delicious, and reasonably priced. Breakfast was great too (good selection, tasty!). The pub has a lovely relaxed vibe and would be brilliant for any kind of group - romantic, friends, family. You could even rent out a room for an event; something we'd love to do in the future even though we are not local.
