Situated in the area of Souvala, Aethrio Guesthouse offers colourful accommodation with private, furnished balconies and serves traditional Greek breakfast in the morning. The property was very beautiful and clean with AC that worked great! The staff here were amazing. The man working speaks English very well, but the woman does not so we used google translate quite a bit. But they were both so kind! They called taxis for us (because most people on the island do not understand much English - especially the taxis) and the breakfast was so so good! This place is a true hidden gem here.

The traditional, family run Hotel Vagia is built in Aeginian Architecture with respect to the surrounding environment, just 150 metres from the beach of Vagia. We like the place, the garden and the atmosphere. The place has beautiful rooms with views to the sea or to the temple Aphaia. It's quite and full of green and flowers. We were feeling like we were at home. Our host helped us to tips for local trips and island attractions. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. And the meals delicious. The breakfast is a must.

Right at the centre of Agia Marina in Aegina and just 40 metres from the sandy beach, the family-run Hotel Rachel features a bar and a TV lounge. Location was great, right by the beach, very central to shops and stuff. Giannis was fantastic, checkin/checkout was very smooth

Mistral is situated at Castella in Aigina, overlooking the picturesque port of Souvala. It offers a sea-water pool with sun terrace, a bar, a sauna and sea-view rooms. I cannot thank the Host (Panos) enough, an absolute gem of a person. Our car broke down in the middle of nowhere due to GPS malfunction. The hotel host being the only contact, came in a taxi and asked a mechanic to fix our car and stayed with us till the taxi had brought mechanic to us. The hotel in itself is in a beautiful location with stunning views of the pool and the sea. The only thing is, it is slightly far from main Aegina, and taxi costs around 13 euros.
