Def highlight was the staff: one of the best! From the reception to cleaning personal, they all made sure that we have a great experience. First day, lady at the reception printed out an itinerary for the festival and brought it to our room, which we even have asked for! Once I mentioned that it was my boyfriends birthday week, reception and cleaning personal prepared the best surprise. On the last day, we needed a taxi at 5am and asked for reception to help us arrange it: then when they realized we are leaving really early they tried to arrange a breakfast for us. Once my boyfriend said its not needed, gentleman at the reception asked if he should arrange a lunch box. These people love their job and make sure that guests have a great experience, I really hope hotel management values them and treats them as they deserve because they are the 5th star to this hotel 🥰

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. Great hotel with a relaxing and well equipped spa area. Friendly and helpful personnel. Really nice breakfast and dining options available as well.

Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort is located in Ribeira Grande, north coast of São Miguel Island. Very nice and spacious appartement with shared pool

Sete Cidades Lake Lodge oferă bungalouri din lemn, cu arhitectură unică, chiar lângă laguna Sete Cidades, în São Miguel de pe Insula Azore. Oaspeții beneficiază de acces WiFi gratuit. Great location. Nice to have privacy in our own bungalow but to see other guests around etc. Andre was an amazing host -- above and beyond! BIKE CHAIR for our toddler. Wow! So fun.

Pico do Refúgio - Casas de Campo combines a natural setting with history, art, and sea views. This was a great start of our vacation. Apart from the buildings being special because of their history, the location & view from the hill was spectacular. Owner Bernard was so friendly to tell us about the history of the building and land, which turned out to be in his family for the last 400 years. It's located in a beautiful rural garden. My partner loves classic & vintage design, and thorough the guesthouses were hints of that. So that was also a big bonus. Would definitely book here again if we ever visit São Miguel again.
