With 55 rooms and 6 suites, all with plenty of natural light and panoramic views. All units are equipped with a flat-screen TV and free WIFI. Bathrooms include a free-standing tub as well as free toiletries. We stayed four nights. Our room had view to the river and it was amazingly beautiful in the morning when we pull over the curtains and the scene would catch you. the breakfast was so nice and we took our time to enjoy it as much as we could :) the indoor pool, sauna, massage was very good. Location and its beauty is so nice, the fire place was amazing, the employees were so nice and polite and helpful. the room was spacious, very nice breakfast and nice Spa and sauna .. there are too many positive points about the hotel that I need many pages to talk about. I must say this hotel was the best hotel that we have so far visited. I strongly recommend it to anyone who seeks calm, nice, comfortable stay and vacation with brilliant scenery and amazing Douro river.

The luxurious Wine House Hotel in Lamego, in the heart of the Douro region, is surrounded by extensive private grounds with vineyards. This typical 18th-century house was restored, respecting its traditional architecture and original features. It blends modern design with historical ambiance. The location was perfect and the property was gorgeous. I loved the variety at the buffet breakfast, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the water circuit as well as the massage. The food was amazing.

The Casa’s rooms all feature stylish, modern furnishing and mood lighting. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and a TV, as well as a private en suite bathroom. Free in-room Wi-Fi is available. A super friendly reception by the host, welcome drinks at 19.30 with the other guests, very animated dinners around communal table. This was hotel no.11 on our trip which was meant for relaxation, and it did. The region is a cultural heritage of unbelievable beauty.

The Vintage House was in a great location on the river and walking distance to several wineries and restaurants in Pinhão. Parking at the hotel was easy and our room was very comfortable with a fantastic terrace. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace admiring the view of the vineyards and the river while eating.

Maria and all the staff were incredibly friendly and would go out their way to get you everything you need, delivering fresh homemade lemonade around the pools The dinners were superb and excellent value for money - 30 to 35 euro for a very generous 4 courses, we ate there 3 out of our 4 nights Breakfast was again amazing, eating on the outdoor terrace with a view, picking a la carte from a large menu with freshly prepared juices and nice coffee Really comfy sunbeds with lots of different lounging areas The suite we booked had a lovely terrace with private sunbeds, seating and a small dunk pool which was a very pleasant surprise There were little touches everywhere which made this stay that extra bit better

Casa do Romezal is a typical Douro Valley house, surrounded by vineyards and providing stunning views over the surroundings. The rustic home was renovated and features a west-facing outdoor swimming pool. Everything was perfect. From the warm welcome to the beautiful view! We stayed in one of the bungalows. There is a big wow factor when you enter the apartment: big bay windows with the most magical view. And the bungalow is quite spacious, super clean, comfortable, quiet, decorated with taste! Margarida and Luís were also amazing, with great recos and attention. The wine tasting was also a fun experience. Luís' passion for wine is contagious.
