Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. Hands down, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The location is stunning, the rooms are amazing, the food and service are all next level. The staff were absolutely wonderful, from reception to housekeeping to everyone in between, this hotel clearly prides itself on exceptional service and it shows. Additionally, while I would never describe it as a family resort, there were several small thoughtful details (like a tasteful play area adjacent to the main restaurant, a kids menu, child-s-zed bathrobes, etc) that made children feel very welcome and cared for. Truly, honestly, one of the best places I've ever stayed. Highly recommend, both as a romantic destination and for a family holiday.

Upmarket, beautiful location and very comfortable. The staff were wonderful, the wine barrel experience was first class and we had a great dinner on the balconey of the restaurant with beautiful views.

Situated in a former 18th-century wine estate, this luxury hotel overlooks vineyards and the Douro Valley. Gorgeous hotel situated by the river with incredible view of surrounding landscape. The hotel gave us a welcome champagne to celebrate my husband’s birthday, which is greatly appreciated. We had a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel in the heart of the Douro Valley.

Absolutelly unique atmosfere, common areas & furniture style. Very close to Douro attractions and nice restaurants in Peso de Regua. Very friendly and helpful host. Highly recommend plae to stay.

Offering an outdoor pool surrounded by vineyards and a lush garden area, Casa da Azenha is located in Lamego. Free WiFi access is available in this farm stay. It felt like we were living in a country garden paradise! we were surrounded by beautiful flowers, helpful and friendly staff, picked fresh apricots and plums from the trees. Breakfast was beautiful in the garden and the staff helped with dinner reservations at local restaurants.

Casa do Romezal is a typical Douro Valley house, surrounded by vineyards and providing stunning views over the surroundings. Lovely place, such a magic house with best view ever! Great breakfast, great stuff, got really good recommendations for food and wineries, best place in the valley!!! A Must!
