Pico do Refúgio - Casas de Campo kombinerar naturmiljöer med historia, konst och havsutsikt. This was a great start of our vacation. Apart from the buildings being special because of their history, the location & view from the hill was spectacular. Owner Bernard was so friendly to tell us about the history of the building and land, which turned out to be in his family for the last 400 years. It's located in a beautiful rural garden. My partner loves classic & vintage design, and thorough the guesthouses were hints of that. So that was also a big bonus. Would definitely book here again if we ever visit São Miguel again.

In the heart of Ponta Delgada, this hotel features a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, mountains and the city. The marina can be found 500 metres away. Lovely staff on reception were very helpful. Good value and nicer inside than outside, spotlessly clean room plenty of space, lovely toiletries. Excellent breakfast more than expected at that price.

This was a perfect stop for visiting Ponta Delgada. A lovely kitchen and living room, nice warm shower, comfortable bed, big room... Really wonderful.
