The views are spectacular and the room had a lovely balcony. Very comfy beds and great size bathroom. Dining area pretty and dinner was excellent. There are some pretty walks you can do from the property.

When only we arrived, I was thinking - "gosh, I have given 10 points on booking for places far less special than this. What should I give them - 12, 20 or what?". It is really a very special, cozy, well-kept and loved place. We were visiting out of season, so it seems ours was the only occupied cottage. Such serenity, peace, fresh air. The territory is spacious, our cottage was so nicely equipped, nicely smelling. Each detail is well planned and taken care of. Breakfast is great, coffee (and coffee machine) is nice. All the people working here - super friendly and warm. We also lit fire in the fireplace each evening - that's so cozy & great. Also there’s a lot of prepared information about the area (where to eat, what to see) in the room. Most of it in EN, which is very practical for someone visiting region for the first time (such as ourselves). It’s one of those places where you want to come back.

Situated on the slopes of the Serra do Açor, this country house hotel offers panoramic views of Serra da Estrela. It features an outdoor pool and spa facilities. Exceptional small hotel located in a rustic old village on top of the mountain. Very nice bed and breakfast, with great pool surrounded by garden with beautiful landscaping. The rooms are decorated with vintage furniture and artwork all over the place. Breakfast is good. There is a restaurant which looks very inviting, outside patio seating, and during the day there are plenty of patio and lounge seats with great views of the valley. Very friendly staff. We highly recommend this hotel for a stopver in beautiful quaint surroundings.

We were greeted by Bruno who went out of his way to make sure our check in process was as good as it can be, and in general every staff member we encountered was nice. The place is absolutely gorgeous, from the dome itself inside and out and to the other facilities like the dining room which served wonderful food both for breakfast and dinner. The place has a lovely pool in which we swam twice in our one night stay - worth it even though the water is far from warm :) Definitely recommend

Located between the cities of Covilhã and Guard, Hotel Belsol offers picturesque views of the Zêzere Valley and the Serra da Estrela Mountains. It features an outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court.... A spacious hotel in a good position with views across the valley. Good food and good parking. Pool was immaculate as were the gardens. In fact the whole place was really well cared for.
