Casa do Romezal is a typical Douro Valley house, surrounded by vineyards and providing stunning views over the surroundings. Margarida is a wonderful host, full of tips for visits, restaurants, things to do. The porch of the B&B has a beautiful view over the valley, ideal to watch the sunset. We had a large room, with a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet is really nice, with freshly cut fruit, and a variety of local cheeses and hams. Highly recommended!

Quinta de Fiães lies along the Douro Valley, just 1 km from the centre of the village of Vilar de Maçada. The couple who run the place were amazing. Very very nice and welcoming. The rest of the staff as well. Their goal was to make us fell comfortable and they succeeded.

This 17th-century mansion offers contemporary-style rooms with modern comforts in Provesende, a 15-minute drive from Pinhão Train Station. Morgadio da Calçada is 11 km from Douro River. We had a wonderful two-day stay. The place is beautiful and has great charm and an authentic atmosphere. We enjoyed dinner with the local wines and this was a great experience - the owner talked about the wines and production and the pleasant chef about the good food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We warmly recommend a stay at Morgadio Da Calsada Douro
