Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. The location and views are amazing and the facilities are beautiful. The owner is wonderful. She goes to a lot of trouble to make her guests feel at home. The dinner was delicious and so was the port wine which we were welcomed to taste. All in all it was a wonderful stay.

Situated in a former 18th-century wine estate, this luxury hotel overlooks vineyards and the Douro Valley. OMG, the best fine dining ever. Chef Joao Santos is an artist. Wow, you HAVE to enjoy dinner at the hotel, the best, even for me as a vegetarian, he was able to enchant me with great meals. We had an upgrade, room with balcony facing the douro river, it was great. close to everything you want to do in Pinhao. And you get a wake up call by all the birds singing in the trees and forrests surrounding you. Do not forget your binoculars.

I was welcomed with a friendly glass of port wine. The property is beautiful and a step back in time. The hosts are friendly, accommodating, and beyond helpful, assisting with taxis, recommendations, and more! Peaceful and comfortable room and fabulous breakfasts. As I had to leave rather early on the final day, they gave me a bagged breakfast to go, completely unexpected! My only regret is that I didn't prebook for a dinner, something to look forward to next time.

It has a lush garden with lots of sitting area. You can also walk around the property through the vineyard. The host, Maria, was so helpful throughout our stay. She helped book our wine tastings and our dinner reservations. All of which were superb! We can’t wait to be back!

Casa do Romezal is a typical Douro Valley house, surrounded by vineyards and providing stunning views over the surroundings. Our stay at Casa do Romezal was a highlight of our trip to Portugal that Jane and I will always treasure. Breakfast was sensational. We loved Margarida's homemade pastries and breads, freshly squeezed juice, and the local cheeses and hams at our breakfast. Simply sensational. Don't miss the vineyard tour and wine tasting with Luis! Margarida and Luis made everything about our stay absolutely perfect. We will be placing an order for wine very soon. We look forward to seeing you if you are ever in the United States.

Quinta do Tedo is an award-winning agrotourism that provides accommodation with breakfast included. I loved the location. There are hiking trails where you can do bird watching and go thru the wine yards. There are facilities for kayaking too, everything included (paddles, kayaks, and lifesavers). The stay includes a tour of the process and degustation of wine.

Quinta de Fiães lies along the Douro Valley, just 1 km from the centre of the village of Vilar de Maçada. The couple who run the place were amazing. Very very nice and welcoming. The rest of the staff as well. Their goal was to make us fell comfortable and they succeeded.
