Tints of Blue Hotel je situován v rušné, ale příjemné čtvrti Sukhumvit v Bangkoku, pouhých 700 metrů od stanice MRT Sukhumvit a stanice Skytrain BTS Asoke. This was our second time staying at Tints of blue (two teens, seven year old and parents) and we loved it just as much as the first. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms - a little oasis in the middle of Bangkok. It’s a little walk to the main road - but we didn’t find it problematic. The tuk tuk ran regularly and could also arrange pickup, but sometimes we chose to walk.

Yakie and her staff were absolutely perfect. Very respectful of our space. They were extremely attentive but so quiet as they would place fans near you when it was hot without you even knowing they did. Food was way beyond expectations! The tram system nearby was easy to navigate and of course you could use Grab, Taxis or tuktuks. A very enjoyable experience!!

Offering free bike rentals and night bike tour (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday only), the classic, eclectic Old Capital Bike Inn features rooms that are individually appointed with heirloom furniture and... This beautifully decorated, boutique-like hotel is an oasis in the middle of the city jungle. When we arrived, hot and exhausted, a welcome drink (delicious ice tea), the lobby's smooth jazz music and a super kind receptionist immediately boosted our mood. And things got only better from there! So many details that made our stay not only comfortable, but also memorable: great "à la carte" breakfast, including a take-away option if you leave early, the evening bike tour (made our day and we would definitely recommended it!), small souvenirs and short hand-written messages left in our room every day, and many more. You can arrange everything at the reception quickly and with discounts: fixed taxi fares, massages, even a swimming pool day pass in another hotel (minutes away) for pennies. Also, we really appreciated the honesty of the hotel when they proactively informed us about a nearby construction (which didn't bother us at all in any case), and we liked that they actually executed their environment-friendly approach properly (not changing our towels and sheets every day if we didn't want to). The owner is a great guy, speaks perfect English (like all the staff) and you can tell he's put his heart into this place. It's definitely been one of our trip's highlights and we would recommend it to everyone, especially if you appreciate accommodation gems with character and are not a fan of 'mass tourism'.

Baan Noppawong se nachází v jednom z vzácných koloniálních domů v Bangkoku, který stále stojí. Byl obnoven v souladu s principy Feng Shui v Thajsku. It’s a great location with lots of character yet very comfortable and thoughtfully updated.

Stylový Focal Local Bed & Breakfast se nachází ve čtvrti Thonburi v Bangkoku. Nabízí bezplatnou kyvadlovou dopravu tuk-tukem k stanici BTS v Krung Thonburi a přístavnímu molu Chao Phraya. We loved everything. The hospitality at Focal Local was unlike anywhere we’ve been,the breakfast each day was phenomenal with so much intention put into each dish we always ordered the Thai breakfast and were impressed each day. Each area of the B&B was spotless, the lobby and breakfast area was very clean. The room was spotless, the bed was typical Thai style hard but still comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely, always hot water and great water pressure. The location was perfect for us, there’s a local market right around the corners, many 7/11s, Thai massage, and the BTS and pier is 15 minutes walking but the tuk tuk service they offer was another amazing addition for those super hot days to be dropped off at either location. When we first arrived the staff gave us a map of the area and told us how to get where, they gave us food options in the area and they even have DVDs you can borrow for the night if you just want to stay in. Just like all places in Bangkok it can be noisy at night with cars driving by, I always bring ear plugs so I’m unbothered but just to keep in mind for anywhere you stay! We can’t say enough good things about Focal Local. Truly a hidden gem!!!
