Amazingly clean. Just like a house. Friendly, helpful and smiling staff took care of our every request right away. Great price for such a clean hotel. Amenities were also good and water pressure was spectaculat.

Great family running the place, very pleasant to deal with and speak English. The food was like grandma cooked food, very delicious and reasonably priced. The location is fantastic, you are surrounded with mountains and green all around. This was the second time that my family and I stayed at this hotel and we are looking forward to our third next year!

Built in 1880s and restored in 1990, this Ottoman style mansion is situated among the historic Safranbolu houses. City History Museum is 550 metres away and free Wi-Fi is accessible in all areas. Stunning Ottoman building, very close to the centre of town. The receptionist was very helpful, especially appreciated his help carrying my case up the stairs! Breakfast was simple but nice.

Located in the centre of Safranbolu district, this authentic mansion is housed in a restored Ottoman building. Staff were so kind. Although we arrived the hotel early in the morning, the staff allowed us to do early check-in. After using a night bus, this is very thankful. The hotel was traditional structure in Safranbolu and very clean and cozy.

This mansion is the perfect place to spend a few nights in, especially if you want to immerse yourself in one of the things that Safranbolu is known for - Ottoman era houses and architecture. It has been loving restored by the owners. Beautiful textiles, historical decorative pieces, weathered antique furniture with stories - no detail is out of place. If you love history, it will feel like you have been transported to the past. Every corner is like a photograph. But a home is truly alive because of the people in it. And the host, Sevgi Hanim, is the heart of this mansion. She is such a lovely person, our stay was so much more special because of her. Also, the delicious Turkish breakfast that she prepared every morning kept me full until dinner. We miss her warm smile already! Some other things to note: the rooms are very clean and well maintained. Depending on which room you get, you might have to share a bathroom. But it is not a problem at all. The mansion is located on a quiet street, yet is is within walking distance to a lot of the major sites in Safranbolu. Markets, eateries, they are within easy reach. We were lucky to spend 3 nights here in October, soaking in the historical atmosphere of Safranbolu. If I ever get a chance to visit this beautiful town again, I know where to stay.

It is very convenient to go to various tourist attractions, especially when you turn left when you go out, there is a delicious restaurant called Kadioglu SehzaDe Sofrasi very close. This hotel has a beautiful courtyard where you can comfortably drink tea, chat, and play cards. The hotel rooms are very simple and historical, but they are clean and the bed is comfortable to sleep in. Especially the room keys have local characteristics. The most attractive thing about this hotel is the enthusiasm of the boss and Sophia. They are responsive to requests and feel at home, fully aware of the hospitality of Turks. Breakfast is also very delicious, with various cheeses, vegetables, fruits, and fried eggs. Especially the fried eggs are very delicious.Sophia is very nice. On the first day, we added another portion of what we liked, and the next day, she kindly prepared a double portion for us. Wishing her and her beautiful daughter and granddaughter more and more happiness!
