Our stay included a local bank holiday and there seemed to be a lot of families with young children and babies staying at the hotel. Consequently, the pool ares and sauna were too overcrowded to use and there was a lot of noise in the leisure areas and dining room.
The grounds to the hotel are expansive and beautifully maintained and we were pleased to find there is a short scenic walk to RUHPOLDING , an interesting town with a good compliment of shops and cafes.
The rooms are cleaned every other day unless otherwise requested but they forgot to leave towels when they cleaned.
The reception staff are polite but seemed indifferent. The restaurant staff are very pleasant and professional.

We have visited Ruhpolding on many occasions but not for 4 years (covid etc). We returned to find a thriving community, busier (but comfortable) town centre than last time we visited & excellent local facilities.

A great little town with a lot of hiking tails, old houses, restaurants and shop. Great transportation possibilities (train, bus). We definitely prefer Ruhpolding over Inzell, Bad Reichenhall or Berchtesgaden.
The hotel is great and it was a super relaxing experience for our family. The pool area is amazing and the fact that the hotel has a kids friendly approach was essential for our choice.
The bed was amazingly confortable and due to the peaceful surroundings we slept like babies.
The breakfast was excellent and with a great variety to choose from.
It was also great to have an indoors small playground for the kids.
The Chiemgau karte gave us access to many benefits, great initiative!
Beautiful hotel on beautiful location. :)
Our room was very nice and cozy and had it's own balcony.
EVERYTHING WAS SUPERCLEAN!
Staff/Hosts were wonderful (friendly, practical, reliable, approachable...).
As residents, we speak German, but hosts also speak English.
Breakfast was very nice. Cozy dining area. Nice self-service bar for evening snacks and drinks.
Internet was good. Parking was sufficient.
Room amenities were good.
We hope that we would be coming back. :)
This was our second time to stay here and we were not disappointed. It is the perfect location for visiting this area of Germany. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast is very good with a lot of variety. The owner is extremely helpful to recommend sights to see and places to eat. She made our meal reservations all 4 nights we were there...and each place was excellent. It was a short and easy walk into town which was nice.
The hotel is very clean and the staff were highly professional. The rooms (junior suite) are generously large and despite the nearby road the soundproofing ensures a quiet night. Breakfast is an experience so leave enough time to appreciate the local specialities and wonder at the incredible woodwork in the room. The evening meal is worth every cent and is delicious. Relax in the bar afterwards, they know what they are doing there too.
The hotel is within easy walking distance from the train station. Our room was big, comfortable and spotless. The added bonus was having a microwave, crockery and cutlery available. Close to restaurants and shops but also in nature with lovely views. Great service. Highly recommended.
Our bavarian style appartaments were very spacious and cozy. The huge balcony had a view to the mountains. The hotel restaurant serves tasty national food at favourable prices. It is the perfect spot to start tours to Berchstegaden and the border of Austria is also nearby.
The staff was extremely freindly. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was very good, for both breakfast and dinner. Great location for exploring Southeast Germany. We felt the cost of the room was well worth it.
The hotel is surrounded by green fields and this makes the whole atmosphere of this traditional bavarian house really nice. The waiters were really friendly and the room was clean. The breakfast was really good too.
Excellent accommodation, very quiet place. Breakfast very good, I can only recommend the accommodation. Ruhpolding is a beautiful town with beautiful architecture, it must be beautiful even in winter.
Nice and clean appartment that has everything you need: well equipped kitchen (including dishwasher), parking, quiet surroundings, close to center of Ruhpolding (5 min walk), terrace. Good heating.
The owner was friendly and helped us about places to visit in the surrounding area. The hotel was really quiet and the service was great. Free parking right in front of the accommodation.
Received a very warm welcome with hostess recommending a restaurant for dinner. Room a good size and was spotless. Good selection for breakfast. Hotel just a short walk to the centre.
The hotel is very clean, with good breakfast, free parking at the property, good location, nice view of the mountain from our terrace, very friendly owner.
