The reception staff were very helpful.
The mid-city location was good for sight-seeing and restaurants, but forced me to use a car parking lot which was relatively expensive (20 euros rather than the 14 euros advised by the desk clerk) and a few minutes walk from the hotel
Set beside the bull ring right in the city centre, this small, 2-star hotel provides a convenient setting for a visit to Castellón and the wonderful beaches of the Costa del Azahar

It worth to take lunch and/nor dinner at the hotel. Lunch costs 18 EUR per person and this is the best meals you can find in the area at this price.
The best rooms are on the ground floor "mountain view" as they call it. They are larger and quiet. We also had a seaview room, but it was too close to the road and terribly noisy all night. We were very thankful to the staff they managed to change our room for a quieter one.
My husband visited the spa. Well, for Spain it was nice enough, but very small and rather cool, not hot (in May).
We also enjoyed a good Internet and a very pleasant business area, very comfortable for remote workers.
The parking costs 8 EUR per night, but we could often find a place to park in the free space near the parking.

I know the city because I lived there for 10 years.
I know the city because I lived there for 10 years. There are many possibilities, you can go to the mountains or the sea, in the surroundings by car, there are many places where you can dine with friends, shops, etc. Even if you don't have a car, you can use public transport.
It's up to you if you want to feel good on vacation.
But next time I will choose a different, warmer period.

The city is absolutely stunning with such a great vibe.
The city is absolutely stunning with such a great vibe. The last day of vacation we had the dinner at an incredible Romanian bar called Angela Bar. The owner, a beautiful lady wearing the traditional Romanian clothes made our evening so special with her delicious dishes and the history of the articles around the bar. I huge recommend her wonderful place full of happiness, history and delicious food.
I'm not talking about the eyes catching, delicious tostada with a fresh coffee at every single cafe/bar we had every single morning.
We have had a great time and as soon the time permitting, we are planning to return. Highly recommended!

I only visit as my mum lives there.
I only visit as my mum lives there. Castellon is not exactly a must visit but it is friendly and as a Brit, I would say it is a fantastic place for the old folk. Everything is accessible and there are a lot of facilities and programmes for them to lead a full and socially active lifestyle. The younger folk will enjoy the many bars and countless little shops in the old part of town and the beach. Nearby Benicasim, just ten minutes away, is buzzing In summer with great music festivals and miles of beach.

We only spent one night because of a transfer, but everything was as advertised, it's a great value for the price. Staff at the reception was extremely kind and assisted us with printing out our boarding cards, since Castellón airport is not accepting mobile boarding passes at the moment. The hotel is in an easy 5-6 minute walking distance from the joint railway station and bus station where you get transfer to the airport.
This was my second time staying at the Eurohotel Castellon, and I obviously enjoyed it since I came back a second time! The price is great for the quality of stay, and the staff have always been very friendly. They were very accommodating when I needed an earlier check-in. And I like the food delivery service that's available!
Exceptional location in a nice area within walking distance of the train station. 3-minute walk to the local food market; various shops, cafes, and restaurants all around. Close to public transport to go to the beach. The building and apartment are renovated, and the furniture is new and modern.
It is a brand new hostel. Everything is new and clean and comfortable. Close to everything: the city centre, tram stop to the beach (around 10 min walk), train station ~ 20 min walking.
Administrator did everything to make my stay comfortable.
I was very lucky to stay there.
We spent 3 nights here, we liked it very much.Situated few minutes from city center, railway station and central bus station ( easy connection to castellon Airport) and few steps from supermarkets , bars and restaurants. Highly recommended :)
Everything is nice, the staff are so friendly & helpful, the breakfast is good , services are amazing, sooo clean, the location is perfect. I recommend anyone who would like to spend the holiday in Castellón to stay at this hotel.
Secure parking was a great help in the busy streets. A good welcome and the hotel owned restaurant next door provided a good evening meal and breakfast. A convenient stop on our journey up the east coast of Spain towards France.
The whole experience of staying at the Luz Hotel is wonderful.
It is conveniently situated for the Rail and bus station and tram line to centre and the port.
The hotel restaurant is first class.
Thank you all at Hotel Luz
It's a 4 stars hotel and therefore is comfortable, clean and have the right temperature.
I liked the music in the garage. Great idea to feel better when you need to pick up something from the car!
Location is nice.
It was a modern hotel clean and comfortable very much like other hotels I have stayed in around the world. The staff were friendly, the breakfast more than adequate. It was situated close to the restaurants.
Really lovely affordable hotel in downtown castillon right across from the train station and the bus station everyone was friendly I was able to get directions downtown it was great
We had a great view of the harbour, nice tapas and wine and a delicious croissant and coffee next morning at the bakery, we didn't have time to stay for breakfast at the hotel.
