So unique, quite timeless, lovely outdoor area. All furnishings and items pleasing to the eye, artistic designs. The proprietors so helpful when I arrived as I had very heavy luggage. My single room was tiny but lovely with everything necessary in it. The information relating to my room name- Claudia Percale was very interesting and relates to the history of Narbonne.

Beautiful, historical town. Good amount of bistros/restaurants but some can be quite pricey. We used the supermarkets on some days to keep costs down. The food hall is a MUST.
The architecture is stunning along with the canal, museums and historical sights.
Highly advise getting a car to explore the towns within 30 minute radius.

It's a small city, but with a lively centre by the riversides, Many restaurants, things to see and do. The market was nice and we had a great tapas-lunch there.
The tourist train wasn't really worth it though, and if you don't speak french, you get earphones ... and on our row three of four plugins didn't work. They still refused to pay back money. That was cheap of them.
It's also close to the beach, and for 1.20 Euro you took the local bus aprox half and hour to reach the sandy beaches. In Saint Pierre la mer we really really recommend "Restaurant PAPA.PACO". Excellent food!
It's also very "centric", so going to towns like Carcassonne etc doesn't take long time, and trip over the day is no problem.

narbonne is an incredible city very well organized, with a lot of green and free parking. The city is quite full of bars and restaurants with some great places to visit ..but the value of the city is the city itself a nice place where to spend 2/3 day in complete relaxation you can walk all around the city without any problem and any car.

Narbonne is perhaps under-rated.
Narbonne is perhaps under-rated. It has great charm and history. The historic centre is compact and easy to stroll around.
For those like ourselves who are interested in the Roman history in and around Narbonne it's great: The Horreum underground granary is good. Via Narbo ( a little way out along the canal) is wonderful, although it has yet to get itself organised with a cafe,
Saturday evening along the canal and under he planes, with plenty of delightful relaxed cafes, was a great way to end our stay.
Decently equipped, quite comfortable and strategically positioned apartments in on the verge of Narbonne's old quarter that should satisfy anyone travelling lightly. The buses to the beaches (#4 and #8, Narbonne Plage for industrial tourism and Gruissant Plage for atmospheric leisure) stop near the hotel entrance and the main road around the corner (blvd De Gaulle -> blvd Gambetta) leading to Les Halles (Market Hall) is full of handy stores (check Le Comptoir du Goût for some food delicacies).
The location near the centre and the railway station is very convenient. There were good suggestions for places to go for breakfast and dinner.
The house and the adjoining former convent chapel are beautiful and very interesting. The owner provided lots of information about the history of the buildings and you can climb the tower (95 steps) to get a view over Narbonne
gorgeous setting. rustic and yet accommodating and modern at the same time. staff were super helpful and took so much care with breakfast and sourcing excellent recommendations. everything is local and bio. they even have an incredible chef that comes to cook a 5 course meal and they source great local wines. felt in nature but also very close to town in Narbonne.
The host met us at the door. Very friendly host. Large size apartment and very walkable area. If driving, I highly suggest paying for the on-site parking. Like most of southern France, the streets are very narrow. Close to bakeries and shops. Walk to Les Halles (~15 minutes) for lovely fruits, vegetables, and meats. Loved our stay, very luxurious.
The apartment was perfect, our best stay on a 2 week trip. It was equipped with everything one could possibly need and the huge terrace at the back was a bonus.
Beds were comfy AND there was much needed air conditioning.
Rimi was super nice and prompt with her communications. Overall a 5 star stay!
THE AIR CONDITIONING WORKED!!
11 different properties I stayed at during a trip around Europe promoted having a/c, but this one and only 3 others actually turned it on and operational. I’m so tired of hotels being stingy with their a/c.
Nice and stylish apartment, very charming area in Narbonne. Very well equipped and spacious garage. That's really convenient and right next to the front door of the building. Comfy beds and pleasant living room.
Breakfast was adequate, the parking was secure and sufficient for our needs even though we had a large trailer. The location just off a main route was ideal as we were transiting form France to SE Spain
Very helpful staff, good location - short walk to the cathedral and other sights in Narbonne. Nice restaurant in the hotel and plenty of eateries close by. Very good hotel and I would stay there again.
As a solo cyclist, it was a wonderful. The house was near many restaurants, stores, and the velo route. I enjoyed my time in Narbonne - I wish I could have stayed longer. Overall, a very relaxing stay.
We loved staying in Appart Republique. It was clean, comfortable, decorated beautifully for Christmas and so convenient for enjoying all that Narbonne has to offer. Thank you, Sylvette!
Good location in central Narbonne. Easy communication with host. Small self contained studio - former budget hotel room, converted to apartment. Perfect for a couple of days stayover.
The hotel is located on a very quiet street, a five-minute walk from the historic city center. Well maintained and clean hotel. Continental breakfast is not very big but sufficient.
