We went to a concert at St George's Hall - just a 30 second stroll from the hotel. A lot of redevelopment work taking place currently. Some lovely old buildings but we didn't get the chance to explore the shopping areas. Wetherspoons is only a 5 min stroll away. We ate there and it was excellent.

Plenty to see and do, we went specifically for a show but there are various museums, theatres and attractions. Also recommend having a curry as Bradford is supposed to be the curry capital of the UK.
Only issue is major roadworks are going on in the city centre in preparation for city of culture in 2025 making navigation tricky for non-locals.

Bradford has some beautiful buildings and probably in it's hay day shone
The city has many homeless young people and my heart felt for these youngsters. I did give money I don't like these new shopping malls the food was terrible there doesn't seem to be much choice in cuisine the road system was chaotic and at times frightening with so much homelessness...

We were there on a theatre visit. The city is in the middle of major refurbishment in the centre and many of the roads were closed to traffic but we were able to walk from the hotel to the theatre quite comfortably.
I like the look of the city and everyone we met seemed friendly.

Lots of areas to visit and close to places like: Saltaire and Haworth (Bronte Country) There is a lot of work being done in Bradford at the moment. I think this is because next year it is the City of Culture and they are preparing for it. I will definitely go back.

Didn't spend much time in Bradford itself which is presently in a mess preparing for city of culture in 2025. A nightmare to drive in. We were actually visiting Saltaire which was pleasant and enjoyed visits to Salts Mill as well as East Ribblesden Hall near Keighley. Mos importantly we were able to spend time with oldest friends now living in Saltaire. The one thing we really wanted to see in Bradford was the National Media Museum - and that was closed!
The white man at the front desk was raisist, the way he looked at me I could tell he gave me the worst room in the building, after going to the room and see the state and condition I went back to the front desk and told him that was not what I booked could I have a different room he said to me that was what I booked and that is what I will have and if I didn't like it I can leave, so I went he said that I won't get any money back. I would never go back to campanile hotel bradford it is disgusting and not suitable for stay.
The wi-fi signal was very strong. It just worked straight away. Usually, in hotels, you have to sign in, giving personal contact details before the wi-fi will work, but that was not the case here. As there are no staff, I was a little nervous that codes and key information would not be available until the day of arrival. I began my journey to Bradford that morning with no more than hope in my heart. I needn't have worried, as the messages came through and the check-in procedure worked well.
excellent polite staff, all well mannered and do they're absolute best to make sure your enjoying your time there initially was supposed to stay one night ended up extending my stay to another night. The room was lovely and spacious. always loved the victoria despite having upgraded some areas alot of the original features inside and out of the hotel are amazing capturing the true heritage and beauty of Bradfords victorian architecture.
Holiday Inn Express Bradford was exactly what we needed for the night. We went to see a concert at the Piece Hall and all the hotels in Halifax were booked so we came to Bradford for the night and we were really pleased with the hotel and the ease on the train to/from Halifax. If we go to a show at the Piece Hall again we will use this hotel again.
The staff were all so friendly, helpful & accommodating
Being welcomed by a very polite Pete till entering the rooms till the breakfast I would say was a great experience and will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice quiet hotel whilst visiting Bradford. Great value for money and the hotels great ambience and architecture complimented the whole stay along with the nice and polite staff members.
Loved everything about the hotel. From the room size to the location to the breakfast. The breakfast was spot on. I enjoyed my stay way too much that I didn’t even want to leave my hotel room to do the rounds I had to do. Lovely hotel. The staff and the daily managers were very supportive and very helpful. The hotel has an excellent group of staff.
Did not eat in at the hotel but loved the view of the canal that rated the good score. Next time I come I will give more time to do some walking on the bank.
The electric car charging was a great boon. The last time I stayed they were being installed.
The general location was perfect with its easy access to to Bradford etc.
Nice comfortable room. Well heated. Very clean. Great situation in the centre of Bradford. Helpful, friendly staff. Good quality breakfast and lunch and dinner available too although I didn't have them. A beautiful, we maintained Victorian hotel with modern comforts.
The staff were very welcoming, made my friend and I feel at home. All requests we made were met with courtesy and good will.We have stayed at the Bradford Hotel a few times and have never had any reason to change to anyother venue. We feel really at home being there.
Lovely old hotel retaining all its original victorian features. Large, clean, comfortable room, in a central location, with lots of free parking spaces, at a very reasonable price. If we were to visit Bradford again we would definitely stay here.
Free parking and reasonable rates make this a good hotel for travelling tourists. Well located for transport but also reasonably quiet for so close to Shipley. Overlooking the canal was nice. Walking distance to all that Saltaire offers.
Lovely boutique hotel. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Ideal location for Saltaire visit and town centre. Bus station close and routes into Leeds, Bradford. Good breakfast. Altogether great overnight stay.
