Spacious room nicely furnished and modern. Walk-in shower and bathroom facilities. Spacious parking. Good breakfast. Close to the delightful Gravedona. Good terrace; the lake is visible but in a distance; you look down on some campers first. Sound if the rain ticking on the roof if you like that.

Domaso is a relatively less touristy town at Lake Como, still plenty of great restaurants and beautiful scenery, can easily drive to the other towns from here. There are two pools at this place, the apartment is fully equipped, very spacious and clean. Our room had a mountain view and it was amazing. We had a great relaxing time here, would totally recommend to anyone who wants to visit Lake Como.

Really nice little town, there weren't that many people as there were for example in Bellagio - perfect town to stay if You would like to enjoy peace. Boats to other towns didn't go that often, but if You plan a bit ahead then everything was doable in a sensible manner.
Shops were closed for us bit early around 7-9PM( used that in Estonia they will close around 10-11 PM ) , so plan Your groceries shopping ahead :)

The location is great, and since it is far from Como, it's much cheaper. For example, you can rent a boat (5 persons, 40 HP motor) from 220 EUR per day (inflatable) or 270 EUR per day (hard plastic boat). In Como, I was asked between 400 to 500 EUR per day for the same boat. Everything is cheaper at Domaso, and there is more space, less noise, more relaxed ambience than at the South part of the lake Como.

The C10 bus helped us get about the area.
The C10 bus helped us get about the area. We also got the ferry at Menaggio over to Bellagio and Verenna. It was all very quick to get across and fairly cheap for public transport.
You could walk along the lakeside or through the towns, both were an enjoyable experience.
Make sure to have comfy footwear.
We walked 60km in 3 days!

A nice place to make the summer a bit longer.
A nice place to make the summer a bit longer. In September the lake was still warm enough for long swims. Swimming-shoes are recommended, however, as the entrance to the lake is stony. And it gets deep quite fast - so I wouldn't recommend it for small children.

We enjoyed Domaso. It is a beautiful place.
We enjoyed Domaso. It is a beautiful place. It was much quieter place than Menaggio, which was good, and it offered great views over the lake. There is a restaurant near the lake where we had cold Italian beer whilst enjoying the landscapes.
Really lovely stay in room 104 (2 bedroom apartment). Great location right in the center or Domaso, walking distance to the lake, restaurants and cafes. Pool was large with a great relaxing atmosphere. Was also handy that there was a communal (for pay) fridge to get cold drinks from. Rooms were good size and the beds were comfortable. We were a little concerned about lack of AC, especially during a heat wave, but the apartment remained nice and cool and was a non issue.
Property was very clean and spacious. Had bonus of the spa facilities. Staff were always very hopeful, knowledgeable and friendly. We were later than expected to check in at nearly midnight and called the hotel with no issues. Plenty of secure parking. Really convenient location to walk locally to restaurants, although we went to the adjoining restaurant which we really recommend. Breakfast was ample and fresh, again lovely staff in the breakfast room.
- Air-conditioning in the living room and bedroom was very comfortable with 36 degrees Celsius outside.
- Comfortable bed and sofa bed.
- Parking garage to keep your car safe and not in the full sun.
- Bar/lounge music at the swimming pool.
- Walking distance to Domaso (restaurants and supermarket), river Livo (behind the accommodation) and Lake Como.
- Relatively quiet surrounding around the accommodation.
- Friendly staff.
We had a nice stay at a historical apart-hotel Villa Vinicia.
It is a very nice apartment and is located centrally. With this apartment it's very easy to reach every important places and for the restaurants as well as shopping centres.
The owner Sonia is a very kind and helpful person. She helped us and gave some valuable tips to make our vacation beautiful.
I highly recommend Sonia and Villa Vinicia.

The family running the site is very friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome from the minute you check in. The access to the lake is ideal and there are plenty of grocery stores within walking distance for larger shopping trips. Compared to other parts of lake Como, the part of the lake by the property is great for swimming and lounging in the grass. It is not too deep so the kids can enjoy swimming safely as well.
Nice view. Lovely pool. Decent breakfast. The hotel is located perfectly to visit other places around the lake. The ferry is only a 5 minute walk away. At the reception desk the staff didn't give a lot of information during check-in but was correct and friendly. They kindly made some copies for me. The staff at the bar/pool was super friendly as well and gave some recommendations for good restaurants.
Just perfect! This place exceeded our expectations. We arrived late (close to midnight) due to traffic on the way, but the receptionist was very friendly and waited for us. The location is excellent for day trips to different places along the Como lake. The pool is a very nice bonus.
Try the restaurant next door to the hotel. It's good!
The staff was amazing.... super attentive and thoughtful. The hotel was spotless and breakfast was wonderful. I would highly recommend Hotel Bungalows Europa to anyone traveling to Domaso. Lastly, the hotel was centrally located, approx a five minute walk from the ferry landing and very close to restaurants and a supermarket.
Villa Vinicia was a lovely place to stay. It was very
comfortable and our room had everything we
needed and more including a jacuzzi Bath and
ambient lighting. Sonia and her brother were
extremely helpful and friendly and booked
restaurants for us ahead of our stay. Would
recommend this hotel :)
Domaso is lovely, the apartment is very close to the beach and restaurants. Everything you need is within walking distance. The apartment was clean and spacious and well equipped. The pool was lovely for the kids to play in and was quieter at times for adults to swim in.
HD is a very cosy place, with clean rooms and a beautiful view to the lake and the montains. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I wish to meet people like them everywhere. I recommend this hotel if you are looking for one in the north region of Como.
Jacuzzi, spa, cleanliness, superb employees, quiet location, nearby beach (yes, I mean it: unlike all other places I've been to at Lake Como, Domaso actually has a really long nice beach).
The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Location is great with a very beautiful view, since the hotel is at the bed of the lake. Very nice walking path and good place to relax.
The lady running the hotel is absolutely charming along with her daughter in the evening. Lovely Italian food in the attached restaurant. We ate there every night
