The Small Luxury Hotel Goldgasse occupies a 14th-century building located in a pedestrian area in the heart of Salzburg's historic Old Town. The location was great, right in the middle of everything. The room was very nice and bis, the bed very confy and a huge shower. The owner was great, very nice, helpful and friendly.

The location is superb-quieter than the Getriedegasse but five paces from the Mozartpltz. The hosts are among the most personable and hands-on I’ve ever met. The room was spacious and modern, and the breakfast was very good. Not just my pick for Salzburg, this is one of my new favorite hotels.

Townhouse Weisses Kreuz is a carefully renovated 16th-century building in the heart of Salzburg's Old Town, 200 metres from Salzburg Cathedral and 500 metres from the Festival Hall. I don’t even know where to begin! Whoever designed this place, thought of EVERYTHING. Joerg, the manager was not only available anytime from anywhere but exceeded any expectation of care. The location is beyond exceptional. The bed was more comfortable and restoring than my own. That’s a big deal while traveling!
